Lol, it took 19months from my first positive test to having A so OH agreeing we can try for another is just a first step!
Fingers crossed your sickness eases this week sunshine0 -

NopeI have the occasional moment where I'm thinking it'd be nice for LO to have a sibling*, but most of the time I'm perfectly happy with just one. There's the age thing (I'll be 37 this year, OH will be 50!), the money thing (we're not wealthy, but not struggling either, and I'd quite like to keep it that way) and the travel thing (all our family is abroad, in two separate countries, so cost and hassle would be a big factor if we had another child) and also quite simply that I can't bear the thought of sleepless nights again!
We've kept all the baby stuff and every now and then I'm thinking we should just get rid of the lot (minus items of sentimental value), but then I wonder if we might change our minds one day?....
*Technically, she's got one - OH has a son who's nearly 16 and lives with his mum. It's a rather large age gap though!0 -

Congrats mrs h. We can be prego together!!!
I'm 12 weeks now. Told A last week and he seems really excited. Doesn't understand much really but is being ever so sweet. He has said when baby is here, he will push the pram, feed it porridge and hold it on the sofa because baby cannot sit on there. Very cute.
My sickness and nausea hasn't gone yetreally hoping this is the week.
hope you are all well. How you feeling Mrsh?

Hi sunshine,
My morning sickness has started but I'm very early, still threw up this morning though. I hope it's the end for you, I'm dreading the next few weeks.
We are currently getting the house ready for grandparents coming over to celebrate lo's 2nd birthday (it's tomorrow but we're doing the cake and toys today) we got him a playhouse and have put it in the living room until summer arrives and it is massive, had to rearrange the whole room haha
Anyone else up to much this weekend?Newly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -

Ahh I totally get your reasoning. But as you say, you never know!!
Sleepless nights do worry me! A is an amazing sleeper now, but I remember only too well - I actually think it was you and I who used to compare our awful sleepers haha! How is your LO at nights now? XLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

It was! She's much better thanks and seems to sleep better after we took the sides off the cot, although we do have the odd game of musical beds. She'll sometimes crawl into our bed in the middle of the night, at which point OH will head off to the spare room as no one can sleep if there's three of us in the bed... But the Gro Clock combined with shameless bribery has helped a lot - she gets reward stickers when she stays in her own bed until the sun appears on the clock, and when she's got a full page of stickers she gets a little present. This morning she finally got her long-awaited new Postman Pat book

Oh, and we had a lovely 'awwww' moment this evening.
LO: 'Do you know who's my best friend?'
Me: 'No, who's your best friend?'
LO: 'You're my best friend mummy' followed by a big hug.
Best mother's day present ever!0
