Evening ladies
Woad - lo can sign "come on" "nappy" "I love" "sunshine" and knows the sign for bunny to get us to do it when reading to him. He can half do the sign for teddy because it's so similar to love. I love signing classes, just because it's a skill for me to learn as well.
We used to have lo sleeping in a long sleeved vest when he had his helmet and stopped using short sleeved with his normal clothes because the helmet made him so hot. Now he wears pj's in bed and just a top and pants during the day but come winter ill probably put a vest on him underneath clothes.
Mamas and papas have a half price sale on clothes at the minute. A lot of really cute cardigans and hoodies.
Nice to see you delain, hope you've been having a nice time while you've been "away" from usNewly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -

Little miss I think will be starting toliet training in the summer as she pays a lot of attention to that sort of thing too!
I managed to (sort of) get squeak into the school we wanted... it's really complicated but means I dont have to split myself in half next year
little miss is coming with me to a sports day at the junior school today to see her sisters, so that will be fun I suppose chasing her around the fieldMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

lol you have a very polite little girl Nutella
hi Delain, glad you got the school you wanted. It's funny the things that make me happy now I'm a parent, for example a nice poo in nappy makes me feel relieved that LO's digestive system is working well! the smell however evokes different emotions...
MrsH signing sounds great. I must get my bum in gear and start soon. I read a book about baby signing that said 'more', 'food' and 'milk' were good starting points but I'll have to look up the BSL or makaton for them - I think the book was american. LO loves Mr. Tumbles!
lazywife how exciting! underwired bras! Maybe you could try an M&S outlet?
I'm planning to buy some bundles from e-bay for nursery use but have no idea what size LO will be at 1 year old 'cos he's recently put on lots of weight! I'll probably buy a few poppered vests in 9-12 months and see how I get on. I hate the mid-riff baring that happens without bodysuits but have heard nightmares about dressing/ undressing once bubs gets mobile!0 -
nutella...awwwww!!
Can I ask what you send your lo's things in to nursery? I've seen those toddler day sacks but they look small. I want something similar though - it's cuter than sending a sainsburys carrier bag after all0 -

We use this. http://www.samsonite.co.uk/funny-face-backpack-small-croco/product-en.htm?or=5824369653 It's cute and it was in TKMaxx so not that price! It's just big enough but everything is quite neatly packed to fit in. There's all sorts in nursery, mostly a backpack if some kind, but one LO has what looks like a nappy bag. I think the nursery staff like it as they can just throw stuff in it and not have to worry if it all fits in.xxx0 -
G has this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Trade-Mark-Collections-Disney-Backpack/dp/B0058TAUF8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1403031955&sr=8-1&keywords=cars+backpack
He's not at nursery but I use it for all his stuff these days, and occasionally he will even carry it himself! Nice for me to have a (slightly) smaller handbag again. Its plenty big enough for nappies, change of clothes, snacks, comforter etc etc. Lazywife that crocodile bag is so cute!Newborn thread member

Hi ladies
Nice to "see" you Delain; had wondered how you were getting on.
A has a bag similar to this for nursery which she now insists on carrying herself, just like a big girl!
I send a large pack of nappies in as needed and have two full changes of clothing at nursery (one warm/one cool weather). She has "nursery clothes" - cheap ones that I don't mind getting stains/marks on - and nice clothes for the other days. She often has marks on her clothes when I pick her up, depending on what they've been up to though one day when she fell into a puddle and got her cardi dirty they did wash it out for me.
On vests, I still use popper vests as don't like her midriff showing as she then undoes her nappyShe wears a vest most days for this reason! I always dress her in clothes - either dress, or t-shirt and trousers/skirt/shorts and depending on the weather either a long/short sleeve vest under and cardi over. I still have babygrows but tend to use them just for night time
lazywife, well done on feeding T for so long... and well done on getting your body back!!!
I'm still feeding A; morning and evening. Last night she went to sleep for the first time without being fed to sleep. She had a feed before I put her in her cot, but I put her down awake and she fell asleep within 10minutesthat was a HUGE step for us!
Have a lovely evening all x0
