    Must use my stash up!
  • Friday. Long awaited. Very Appreciated.

Even in the fog of the worst migraine for a while. Mainly due to an e mail I sent, people being more fond of their egos than being professional and there being far too much to do.

I of course am perfect in all this ;) well I am tired, crouchy and not been planning my lessons. so yeah.........moving on. head is killing me. taking ages to type this.

I have had the time off approved for the funeral. need to look for a dress....well an outfit of some description. meeting a friend for coffee (tea) tomorrow.

Money wise had bulk bought dog food one month = 40 quid. not in the budget........cannot wait till next month to have a bit more money to play with.

    too tired.

  • Woke up without a headache, which was fab, best mate broke up with her Boyfriend, so went shopping with her, had coffee etc. She is doing ok. I think it is the right thing in the long term. He is fun in short bursts but I suspect not right for her.

So my plans went a bit a rye but truthfully have had a nice day, played with the animals, bathed the guinea pigs (they HATED it) had pizza for dinner..........yeah pretty good.

  • Right, Crazy loan plans dealt with I been trying to work out what to do to make money or make more of my money.

Am considering a 0% purchase card and new interest paying current account.

I have managed for nearly 8 months to pay off my CC each month.

I think if I kept my spends low I may be able to work something out. all back of the envelope stuff. Plus I am not that keen on account changing as mine is so handy for everything. However 5% interest is not to be sniffed at!!

  • So applied for an account with the TSB.

aiming to keep 2000 pounds in there. Pay in and spend 500 - as my spending money.

will have to build up the 2000 (!) but think it is better than the 0.9 on my dip in savings account (which this effectively would become).

I really have to do something about my ISA now....

    cooked an omelette. was disgusting.

not paid any money into tsb yet.

but I will do once I have more proof than a PDF on my computer that I actually have an account.

Intended to write more but have the worst period pains!

  • Today I,

    1. napped
    2. cleaned the windows in my bedroom
    3. tidied and cleaned the dresser thing.
    4. cleaned the bathroom
    5. cleaned out the guinea pigs.
    6. hoovered.

not done any school work at all.

    but am ok with that.

Moneywise, well I am spending too much. However much is unavoidable. need cardigans, flowers for the funeral, indoor toys for the rabbits (very bored), also various trips to the vets maybe necessary.

I can hold off on the toys. ;)

    best go to bed really!

Oh Buffy..sounds like it's all a bit tough at mo. Sorry to hear that.

Hope things improve. Look after yourself..drink plenty of water, exercise (minimise stress ;) impossible I know that one) and generally give yourself a break from time to time?

  • Hi Buffy,

Sounds like you had a chilled out weekend. Lovely. Not sure about bathing guinea pigs though haha would love to have seen that.

Hope your week is going ok and work isn't too stressful. Get planning what you are going to do to change that.

Are you going to start evening tutoring again? I pay a local woman £15 per hour to tutor my son every week, but I have paid £25 in the past. Good money maker :T.

    Keep smiling xx
