Hi folks,
I have been working almost constantly for about the last two weeks, I feel like !!!! and think I am developing a cold, lovely burning throat and constantly starving (a sign, I think of dehydration whilst fighting a temp) I should probably be in bed ( I was for most of the afternoon) but Mum would be left alone and she doesn't like that.
I am worried about her as usual. she is often so miserable. has hardly gone out this week, worried about money. sick of the state of the house - to be honest both of the last two apply to me too! so I could be projecting!!
I have also hurt my back. and wow that is a new kind of pain!
so yeah, fairly crap here. Money is ok mainly because I have little time to spend apart from on line. So the CC has taken a massive hit. however it has been paid off.
Oh and I had a sick hamster- a sign I am beyond horrified to admit I am about 90% due to neglect
. He had diahorrea and I did take him to the vets - but in hindsight I think he was ill for a few days before I realised. Vet prescribed antibiotics twice a day, porridge oats and in between live yoghurt. He is a 100 times better now, getting fat again and that is a relief. a big relief. I felt dreadful on Sunday.
This is essentially a result of 12 hours a day at work and very poor diet more work and little sleep. averaging about 5 hours.
The dogs are also all over the place.
Positives.
Well work seems to be ok,
but to be honest, that isn't a comfort, I am barely speaking to my friends, let alone seeing them. the things that are important have gone by the wayside recently.
However crap I feel tomorrow I am going to out to dinner. That is one thing.
I think it will be Beechams and bed tonight.
debt stands at 3300. v !!!!ed off about that. but at least it isn't going up.

Hope you feel better today and have a lovely lunch out.
I don't think you are neglectful. Not many people I know would spend as much time and money at the vets as you do XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Morning Lucky, I cannot believe you posted here even though you had a crappy night
thank you XXXXX
I am ok, it is just a cold although I am a bit worried as I feel very...well my heart seems to be thudding a bit.
I am shopping today, online for a new laptop and fish bits!
This weekend I am supposed to be doing the big pre-Christmas clean up but I think I will focus on maintaining. I have joined a Fly lady group on FB! and so that will help from tomorrow. But today I think rest and light duties re animals and room so that tonight I can go out with a clear conscience.

Hello folks XX
Been working like a dog for this last month. still got another week till it is done. Stayed up till two last night marking, having stayed up till one most of the rest of the week.
I know there will be people reading this who say huh why'd you leave it till the last minute.
Well this week we were supposed to be observed Wed, we weren't, we all had test week last week so been marking basically any piece of paper put in front me. So did the marking fine for Wed, thought great, can mark exam wed/thur night, nope now Observation is Friday any one of FOUR lessons so all the marking needed doing, luckily two groups sorted but did the other two last night. Had to mark exams to give back Thursday.
That is the most infuriating thing about this job. If they (management) let me just do my bloody job it would easier. I cannot explain how many times the goal posts have been moved. It is like I am playing a different game. and with them everything has to be done now.
am ok, just tired, feel depressed. however I think that is the ridiculous hours at work, I am not thrilled with life but whilst I still get some satisfaction out of work (taught two good lessons today, obs was ok in the end and got some where with a nightmare class) I have to stick with it.
Am watching Dead Poets Society. This is film means so much to me and always has. So sad now watching, knowing the amazing Robin Williams is dead. too soon, in such sad circumstances. I do think this movie is part of the reason why I am a teacher.
I wonder what happened to the young girl who watched this film thoI suppose the joy of grown up responsibilities and life gets in the way somewhat.
current debt 3100.
Should be able to be in the 2000s by the end of the year.
Loads of things I want to write but am so tired.
love to you all

Hi Buffy - I was wondering what you were up to. Your work situation sounds like mine with the management headaches. Why don't they just let people get on with their work and stop trying to justify their jobs all the time? Annoying.
Have a good weekend anywayI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Good to hear from you. Sorry that work is such a pain, Sending hugs. Also think Dead Poets is part of the problem - Grammar school wasn't like the Billy Bunter/Chalet school books. Would have saved so many problems if they had let me go in the 'extra Latin' class in the second year instead of the one they thought would 'bring me out of my shell' (putting a goldfish in a bowl full of piranha as my French teacher said - the class forced her into early retirement) .
My ex collects and reads the Everyman pocket readers and I once suggested to him that they were what we both expected but didn't get from our respective Grammar schools. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0
