Quite a bit of cramping today. I know some is normal, and I can't be sure it's uterine and not bowels, as my IBS flares in pregnancy. But time will tell. Can't help but think the worst.0

Hope everything is ok for you Rambosmum.
Had the worst nausea so far today.
Just got in from work and I ache. My back hurts, think it!!!8217;s just because I am knackered and nothing else.0 -
Rambosmum - we're EDD buddies! I suffer badly with my bowels too and have been having some cramps but not too bad atm. They were bad enough pre-pregnancy that I had surgery to see if I had endometriosis as it's so hard to distinguish between the two. I'm trying to keep calm, but I have no other symptoms of the pregnancy but it is really early days.0

Added you to the list HopHop. Yeah, my tummy is pretty tender so I'm pretty sure it's bowel related, but still makes me panic! I remember being like this first time round though.0

Hi All,
I've not been around for a while (Wedding and honeymoon!) but I just wanted to update you and act as a bit of a warning...
I've been suffering with morning sickness since 5 weeks, gradually getting more intense to the point where I was vomiting most days and multiple times a day. Last week I had a migraine that lasted about 5 days and because the pain was so bad I couldn't keep anything down - not even water - which made taking a paracetamol impossible. I eventually went to the doctor on Tuesday and after a chat and a urine test he said I was severly dehydrated and had a fair amount of keytones in my urine signifying starvation as my body started using up my fat reserves (I'm a size 8 so didn't have much!). I'd lost around 10% of my body weight. The doctor referred me straight to hospital where I spent the night getting liter after liter of fluid, anti sickness meds, anti blood clotting meds and pain killers all via a drip. Once I could keep food and drink down, I was discharged on Wednesday (with lots of meds) with the caveat I came back Thursday for a scan and some more tests. I'm ok and more importantly baby is ok - I was 10+5 and got to see our little one for the first time.
I was diagnosed with Hyperemesis Gravidarium and it is no joke. Probably a bit naively as it's my first, I just through what I had was normal morning sickness. I urge you if you're struggling with the vomiting, loosing weight, or a bit dehydrated - please get yourselves checked out and avoid a night in hospital.
My 12 week scan is in 8 days and I'll get a more accurate due date then but for now it's estimated as 22/12/18
