I know the feeling! I'm 9 weeks and 3 days and had my first positive at 4 weeks but I still want to test every now and then. As I did multiple tests at home, at my first contact with a doctor they said they didn't need to do another to confirm it and they didn't at my booking in appointment either so I don't think I'll be truly convinced until I see the scan in 3 weeks time and have it properly confirmed. I have spoken about this with my OH though and he's reassured me that we've had numerous positive tests, I haven't had a period, my boobs are swollen, nipples are sore as hell and the morning sickness has been full on since week 5 so he's pretty convinced we're pregnant - and I do have to concede and agree he's right for once!

  • at least i am not the only one who thinks like this.
I thought i was going crazy!
i'm confused, i used the NHS due date calculator just to see what it came up with and if i didn't adjust the cycle length i am 4 weeks and 5 days, however when i adjusted the calculator to my actual average cycle length which is 23 days, it said i was 5 weeks and 3 days. i thought you just went from the 1st day of your last period?

Just come back from hospital. Went to the loo at Work and saw blood.
    And freaked out.
Yesterday I had a major backache, like when I MC so obviously today I was scared.
They were brilliant. Did bloods, urine test and ultrasound.
Everything is fine and we have a little heartbeat .
Couldn.t see loads as I didn.t have a full bladder but little pud is ok.
Got my booking in appointment tomorrow.
I don.t think I have ever felt relief like it.
And this child is definitely grounded for life for scaring me.
Fingers crossed for the next 32 weeks.

Hi ladies, it appears I am very very tentatively dipping my toe back in this pool. Got a bfp on a frer today, which would make me 3+4, so ridiculously early. Terrified of miscarrying again and not really believing it to be true right now, especially as we only dtd once this month and I had no idea when I was ovulating!

    Congrats.
I can relate to feeling terrified, which showed itself yesterday.
I am just taking each day as it comes.

Yes, that must have been really scary for you. I'm really glad everything is ok now

Thanks. I still don.t believe I am pregnant even after a scan and the booking in appointment today. I don.t think it will seem real until I get a huge belly.
I have everything crossed for you and I.m here if you need someone to speak to who has been in a similar situation x

Got my first scan letter today. One week before the wedding!
And the day before we see Foo Fighters so hopefully an awesome way to start the run up to the wedding.
