Glad the scans went well!!
It is so completely mind blowing when you think about it, isn't it.

Hi everyone, I introduced myself at the beginning of the thread, but havent posted much I too had my scan today, I calculated 12+ 4 but been put forward to 13+ 2. Baby was being awkward and was upside down so I had to go for a walk & for something to eat & cone back so the sonographer could get the correct measurements. Feel like I can relax a little more now, good luck to everyone in this thread! x0

Yay so pleased fire bird, newthrift and life starts... our scan
Went well too! Although slightly concerned twin 2 seems to be pummelling twin 1?! They were so active and wriggly.. was amazing and totally makes all the sickness pale into insignificance.
Newthrift hope tonight went well!
I will move over to next thread now but wishing you all all the best and see you there soon!x:rotfl:0 -
Wow; so many scans yesterday and so much happy news! Mine is this afternoon and I am just so excited!
I was offered a 3 month extension at my current work contract yesterday and I turned it down (they don't know about the pregnancy). I must be mad as a sensible person would have grabbed it but I wasn't enjoying it there... I do run a huge risk now of not being able to find anything else given that I won't be available for work past May next year but I do feel strangely happy about the whole situation!Cleared my credit card debt of £7123.58 in a year using YNAB! Debt free date 04/12/2015.
Enjoying sending hundreds of pounds a month to savings rather than debt repayment!0 -
Oo good luck snow screamer!!!!
I don't blame you for turning it down if you are not enjoying it.. you would still be eligible for mat allowance I think IF nothing else came up... this is a happy time! .:rotfl:0 -
Snow hope your scan goes ok this afternoon.
Elles glad your scan went well too, clearly there is a twin who already knows they are in charge
It went well telling parents. They were all really shocked and super excited. Have also told siblings and our 4 closest friends. Going to speak to most other friends and family we want to tell personally over the next few days and will do the usual 'social media' announcement over the weekend. It was so nice to share the news!Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

Hi Snow
Hope your scan went well this afternoon
I also would have turned the job down if I wasn't enjoying it. But, then, I did do the insane and leave a permanent position for a temp position as it (or, rather, the girl I was working with) was just getting me down. I ended up at the temp position for over 18 months as they kept extending it and were a great little company to work for.
In other news, I am loaded with a cold and we need to go finish our Christmas shopping tomorrow. The only thing that is making me want to go is the thought of purchasing our first little (and only for a while) sleepsuit, cos it was gorgeous and gender neutral :j0
