Hope everyone had a good weekend, our scan is in two days so I'm getting pretty worried0

Good luck Gelly, I'm sure it's about 7 weeks before they can hear/see anything. I'm 8 weeks now had cramps on one side and brown spotting today. Trying to be positive as I had this with DC1 but still a horrid worry
Good luck LemonTree let us know how it goes xx0 -
Good luck LemonTree, I'm sure it will go great
xx
Hope you're doing OK Moneypenny. I understand that spotting around 8 weeks is fairly common. Fingers crossed all OK for you xx
Gelly, how are you hunny? Hope all is OK xxx
Nothing to report here. Looking forward to my booking in appointment tomorrowxx

Hi ladies, sorry for the radio silence over the weekend, such a busy one. Hope you all had a good weekend.
Am still spotting but it's brown and no sign of red or pink. Have just spoken to our EPU and they have recommended that I go there on Weds morning for a blood test and again on Friday morning and they will measure my HCG.
We've got an early scan booked for next Tuesday and I know there is nothing they can do if I am miscarrying again but don't know whether to go for the blood tests or not?
Any thoughts ladies?Married Sept '09, Me - 38, OH - 40, TTC since Nov '12

I think it depends on whether or not the blood tests will offer you reassurance, or worry you more.
If it does turn out to be worse case scenario (fingers crossed for you that it's not), would you prefer to know asap, or let nature run it's course (so to speak)?
Either way, ((HUGS)) xxFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Thanks Euronorris,
We've agreed that we'll go for the blood tests - at least by Friday afternoon, we'll know if my HCG levels are increasing or decreasing and we'll know by the weekend rather than waiting for a scan next Tuesday.
Now to plan on how to get out of work for them on Weds & Fri mornings - eeek!
It's going to be a long few days but isn't it always!
Thanks for your support
Gelly

You could always claim emergency dentist appointment, and that you then needed a follow up? xxFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0

Well I think the decision has just been taken from us - the brown spotting has just turned red.

moneypenny I've heard that's common around 8 wks so hopefully nothing too serious, take care.

euronorris looking forward to hearing about your booking in as got mine next week.
I've felt rotten all weekend, very nauseous and tired, trying to just power through but feeling rubbish today as well - not that I'm complaining really its just hard when you want to be in bed all day.
