Thanks Moneypenny. I am 7+5 now and have felt nauseous for the last week and a half.
If my sister's experience is anything to go by I can expect this to continue for another 2.5 weeks! Joy!
Still, at least my booking in apt is next week. Feels like it's taken forever to roll around!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Hi All, thanks for the thoughts on my tmi problem - thankfully it has cleared up as of yesterday and everything seems normal - think it was just as thought, trying too hard (literally!). Prunes are horrible... the glamour!
6+3 for me today, the community Midwife called back and they are sending my booking in apt in the post asap. The good news is they will be able to tell me at the booking apt the date of my scan so at least I won't have to wait for a letter for that.
Feeling ok today, bit tired, OH and I went out on Saturday into Manchester and managed to last past 12 even though I was driving (obviously) but felt like I'd been run over yesterday! Got to go to London for work this week for a few days and not looking forward to the train... haven't actually been sick or anything though which is good - although did worry as I'd felt so well that I took a digi to check I still was haha - 3+ came up which calmed me down a bit.
Here's to a happy healthy week all xMancMama4 (35) TTC since Apr 15, MMC Dec 15, Our Rainbow Baby Charlie arrived Dec 16 :heart2:0 -
9+3 here. Still feeling the nausea and still not sleeping properly. Have cramps today which are worrying but they aren't constant so trying not to think about.
I am 25 and it is my/our first. I've wanted a child for ages but now it could be happening I am crapping it! I think it is inly natural.0 -

Just popping back from 12-24 week thread - dried apricots are a good alternative to prunes, and much nicer! I have a handful every morning with breakfast as I got v bunged up in early pregnancy, and no problems since. I can't stomach prunes, but prune juice is also supposed to be very effective xLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Hi all, hope you are all as well as can be.
Still majorly feeling the nausea today. Not sure if it's just a coincidence but had a sickness free day yesterday and realised i had forgotten to take my pregnacare on Sat. Took it yesterday and nausea back today, was doing a bit of reading and apparently the level of iron can make women feel quite ill. Not sure whether to stop the vits and just take the folic acid and see if it helps or just grin and bear. Anyone else noticed an effect from pregnacare?0 -
Hi Moog, hope you are well.
Thanks for that - I really like dried apricots so will definitely swap to those, great tip!
Happy belated birthday Euronorris what gorgeous presents, I was sneakily eying those charms yesterday funnily enough (and getting teary haha) xMancMama4 (35) TTC since Apr 15, MMC Dec 15, Our Rainbow Baby Charlie arrived Dec 16 :heart2:0 -
Boat girl I had the exact same problem with Pregnacare, made me feel so sick. Do make sure you take with food and not on an empty tummy. I actually switched to the Boots own brand in the end and have been fine on those XMancMama4 (35) TTC since Apr 15, MMC Dec 15, Our Rainbow Baby Charlie arrived Dec 16 :heart2:0

Thanks MancMama, think I will give another brand a try as I am pretty sure its the pregnacare making me feel rubbish and not just pregnancy!0

May I join you? I am 6 weeks today, found out I was pregnant 12 DPO so its already dragging!!
I already have a daughter (almost 7) from a previous relationship, was lucky enough to fall pregnant first try with my fiancee last month. Which was amazing, obviously, but it's kind of taken my breath away as I wasn't expecting it to happen so quickly!
Today is the first day I have felt any sickness, I've been awake since 2am with my head in "the sick bucket" (I know every house has one!) just dry heaving though, it's misery! I desperately want to be sick because I know I'll feel better, even temporarily - but nothings coming out!!!! Anyone else??? I've been nibbling salt and vinegar crisps and drinking flat coke all day. Bleh!Proud Mummy to Ruby
