Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! Part 4!!

Well, 4 of my colleagues guessed this morning. They started talking about babies, and pregnancies and saying 'oohhh euro's just got married, maybe she's trying'. Me: goes bright red. Tried to say noooo, no, I'm not, but they didn't buy it. Then they started with the 'oh she's gone red!!! Are you already?' 'oh yeah, she's switched to decaf! Don't pregnant women have to reduce caffeine intake?!'. Me: even redder, and saying noooo (weakly). 'You SO are!'.


Me: *sigh* you're not supposed to know this early!


Cue a few screams from the youngest girlie lol and hugs. They were very sweet actually, and have all agreed to keep it to themselves until I'm 12 weeks! A couple of them said I'm going to make a brilliant mum, so you know, then I cried! lol


My face gives me away everytime! I literally cannot lie to save my life!

We've recently had two blokes at work sharing that their wives are expecting. People keep talking about who will be the third, but I'm the only one nobody looks towards. Guess I should be offended that they're ruling me out because I'm old! Lol

Ladies I had my scan yesterday. Just 1 baby
But they put me back to 9+6. Knew they would and told them I ovulate late but they booked me for the scan dead on 12 weeks since LMP.

Yay that's brilliant news Danielle!! I have a feeling I will be similar to you as I ovulate late aswell. you will be graduating before you know it

Still feeling rotten after this stomach bug, lost 9lb �� luckily can now keep fluids down. Craving chips and gravy but just about managing a cracker ��

Worried a bit because I have only had two days of folic acid then started being ill so can't take them yet as need to have them with a meal. Just hope everything will be ok. Can't really worry I suppose as there was no real alternative.

Great news Danielle, I think I ovulate early so I think they might date me at 13 weeks at the scan, I think that's maybe why the test said 2-3 weeks instead of 1-2.

Oh no! Sorry to hear about your stomach bug but good news you're feeling better. I seem to have had a hormone surge or something that has increased my morning sickness I was really sick yesterday and feel tender today. I'm 13 weeks today and my scan is on Tuesday morning.

Good news Danielle, was it a private scan? I've forgotten.
I'm 43, depending on if baby is early I'll with be 43 or 44 when it's born!
They were shocked at work last time I was pregnant and I was adamant that we would only have one as because of our ages we'd need to get pregnant before our daughter was a year. She was a year on sept 16 and I had my bfp on the 19th lol

Moneypenny I'm sure you'll be OK, just take the tablets when you've settled down. I'm on 5 mg ones and occasionally forget them �� but I hope that as I'd been on then a month or so before I conceived and that I mostly take them that we'll be OK, that and being 10 weeks now, and being able to stop them in a couple of weeks anyway.

Hi Ladies,

Have had intermittant bleeding since Friday, and period pain cramping.
Blood mostly just when i wipe and a small bit on a pad. No clots and blood hasn't been there everytime i've been to the toilet. Going to ring Drs in the morning and try to get seen.
