    *hugs* PM.

I've had a few little bouts of nausea, but nothing too bad yet thankfully. I'm tired all the time, grumpy (from being tired probably), and I go from really hungry to not even wanting to see or smell food within a few minutes.

Hopefully you'll get distracted a bit by something that will help the time pass by quicker/easier PM.

The wife has become rather bloated and slight swelling towards the end of the day, and last night something triggered a migraine.

She got quite strong migraine's last pregnancy but more in the 2nd trimester.

As she is almost 9w so ~10w to go before pre-eclampsia could be diagnosed at its earliest so we suspect its something she is eating that's having a reaction, mix that with hormones... The temp isn't helping really, the last pregnancy was through late summer and winter where it was much cooler!

    Hello everyone.

I've just found out I'm pregnant with my first, roughly 5 weeks by the calculators.

So far I've not had any sickness (touch wood) but have noticed

    Slightly greasier hair
    Feeling more tired
    Bloating
Some cramps that feel a bit like mild period pain

I'll be sending off the form to arrange a midwife appointment this afternoon. It's all very exciting and a bit daunting!

Hi Part Mouse and congrats to you, Lottie :-)
  • Hey everyone, haven't had too much to report, the nausea has subsided pretty much, just permanently tired now

Had an early scan this evening as my NHS scan is only a week or so before OH and I move to Cyprus and we wanted to be able to share our news with our friends in person well before we left.

Delighted to say we too had a very wriggly bean with a very strong heartbeat. Measuring 9+5 which is only a day out from my lmp calcs. Can't quite believe I really have a little person growing inside me, it's crazy!!

OH and I blubbered all the way home from the hospital and now he's gone out to puff his chest out to the world and assert his manliness in the pub!!

I'm sitting here a snotty mess excited that I'm still awake past 9pm!! I'm sure it won't last long!!

    xxx
