Hugs PM
I think because on 3rd try we got to 12 weeks we started to begin to relax and then we got the bad news ... this time I dont know what to do !! I feel so poorly too the AB haven't kicked In yet and I still feel feverish so just don't know what to do with myself !!0 -
PM- i'm another one who had cramps- to the point I thought it was an ectopic too. Turns out that finally conceiving is not the end of the hideous ttc stress! You just find new things to freak out about! Many congrats and like T2D said- don't be disheartened if you don't see anything on the scan. I paid to be scanned privately at 6 & 9 weeks (6 as I was convinced it was ectopic and 9 as all my symptoms disappeared...). All I saw on 6 weeks was a sac and was just lucky enough to see a flick from the hb. 9 week scan was bizarre as it was totally different!
Toft- fingers crossed everything is fine for you. Like lilmiss I found all my symptoms disappeared and it stressed me out more which I think made them less likely to be apparent iyswim?0 -
Thanks ladies I'm not expecting to see much if anything tommorow. I'm evening thinking of taking another test tommorow as it still feels like something that can't possibly be happening to me.im terrified of something bad happening with this pg esp as I've only got one working tube.
It's reassuring to hear I'm not the only one with bad cramps.
Lilmiss sorry to hear about your friends struggles, I really hope she get her bfp, its an awful journey to be on with way to much heartache.
Toft I don't have any experience I'm afraid but I'm sure the infection isn't helping. I hope the ab's kick in soon.0 -
PM - after years of bfn, if you want a bfp you go for it.
May I ask - is the one tube more terrifying because it can affect this pg or because if this pg doesn't go to plan it will be harder to conceive again (as hard as before I mean)?
Both of you - hope you can get some sleep tonight and the answers you want SOON. :grouphug:Met DH to be 2010

TOFT, what time is your scan on Tues? Mine is at 9am. I am also feeling very nervous, although I've not been pregnant previously. I just want to get it over and done with so it can stop stressing!
Sleep well tonight ladies xx0 -
I'm the same PM- i only have one tube- the other ovary isn't linked to anything. I was getting cramps on the tube side which ramped up my paranoia no end! It's just the start of things that'll freak you out. Too many symptoms.. Too few... No movements... Too many movements... Weight gain... No weight gain. Seriously- i don't think i'm the only one to say this but being pg is not the wonderful thing I envisioned. I've found it totally stressful and cannot wait to have my baby so i'm not pg anymore! Then I suppose the stress will just move on! Once you get that positive test everything changes!
Also with regard to the testing thing- it won't show you anything. I can't tell you how many tests I did- freaking out because some days lines were dark, others really pale. Sadly if anything bad is happening a pregnancy test won't show you that immediately. They just detect the hormone (concentration of which varies depending on liquid drank, toilet habits, time of day etc.). Enjoy the positive test!
One of the most useful things I've had (other than support from the amazing women on these forums!) is a book by emily oster called expecting better. It really helped to soothe me and gave me facts that I could make my own decisions on.0 -
Lilmiss for me its a mixture of both im worried about ectopic as if I lose my only working turbid its only IVF for us and I'm a very poor responder to drugs. Also its taken 7 years of a mix of ntnp and ttc and fearful of this pg not going well and having to restart treatment.
Tcod snap its the same side that I ov from and my only working tube thats been causing the pain.it great knowing others with simulaur probs can get and stay pg.its very strange to even be pg after so long you almost accept its never going to happen to you.i think the worry train is just beginning.
Will have a look out for the book.0 -
It takes a while to accept its happened. I'm 27+1 now and despite feeling baby kicking and seeing it on scans and buying all of the things etc. i still can't believe it has happened. I was *only* ttc for 3 years and just dodged the IVF bullet. I still feel hideously bitter when I see pregnant women as I just don't identify with them! Then I remember what's going on and it just doesn't feel real! It takes a long time to forget the struggle so don't worry that after a few days it hasn't sunk in yet!0

Wow 27+1 whes the time gone? I keep expecting g af to come as the only thing I ever have that looks like a cycle is after fertility treatment. I'm pretty sure I've only ever ov 4 times in my life on treatment that is and one for them I somehow got pg on.i always knew the odds were so hugely against me ever getting pg that despite trying I accepted it wasn't realistically going to happen for us.
Also maybe tmi but has anyone been really gassy and bloated?0 -
My appointment is at 845 I hope I feel better and can stop stressing about everything !! X0
