So sorry you're having a terrible time of it Gelly123.
Congratulations Lotti1982 - welcome to the thread!
Wow, loads of good scan news - angeltreats, wendz86, tinkwings and runmichellerun, glad you saw your little ones and they're all doing well
Hope your arms are feeling better tinkwings, do take care of yourself.
I had my first one on one midwife appt today at 9.5 weeks. She took blood - expertly, didn't hurt a bit! I had to take a a wee sample with me, she took my blood pressure and went through loads of family history questions, weighed me and checked my height.
She basically said I'm as normal as they come, and can expect to give birth in a midwife led centre in the hospital. She said it's much more relaxing than a labour ward, with a pool in each room, and a kitchen you can wander in and out of to make food and drinks! She made it sound like a holiday!:rotfl:
She aaid she was surprised we hadn't told our failies yet, and she hopes her kids would tell her. We said we're waiting for the 12 week scan. If I knew any statistics on what % of pregnancies make it from say 6 weeks to 12 weeks successfully, I might think about it, but I think we're keeping schtum for now. Have many of you ladies shared the news pre 12 weeks?
Now to wait for the 12 week scan invitation in the post - anytime from June 2nd to 20th I reckon - aaaaaaages!0 -

Bleeding just got much worse and I've bled through my trousers whilst at work so I've had to dash home.
Have spoken to the EPU at the hospital and they also agree that it sounds like another MC starting.
Absolutely devastated

Timeflies I am not telling anyone until after the 12 week scan. I am a pessimist though and keep saying things like hopefully it will still have a heartbeat. I think it is my way of trying to cope in case things are not good but I know it is annoying my OH. I still don't have any symptoms 9+3, no sickness, no tenderness which still worries me.0

Big big hugs Gelly, look after yourself xxx0

Ladies, I drove myself mad thinking the worst through the first trimester- so much so that I had 2 private scans. I found that knowing there was a heartbeat and the survival percentage figures given on the miscarriage association site gave a lot of reassurance. That said I didn't tell anyone (other than family and manager) until I was about 16 weeks- but that was just because of my long and infertile ttc history. If you want me to post the link let me know. Xx0
