Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! Part 4!!

Hurrah, I win, I'm before you both on the 24th!! Hehe

Everything was fine. The baby was a bit sleepy but woke up for long enough to do a bit of a dance for us (he shares his dad's terrible dance moves) and for the sonographer to get all the measurements. She said the nuchal measurements were normal but obviously depends on the blood test too.

I feel really quite elated now! Phoned my very dear auntie as soon as I got home and told her the news and she is over the moon, and my mum has been given free rein to tell the rest of the family. We're skyping with the in laws tonight so will let them know too that they can tell the aunties and uncles.

Photos are absolutely lovely too and for some reason we didn't get charged even though our hospital normally charges £10 for them!

Thank you for all of the welcomes, went to drs today and rang to arrange a midwife appointment for the 4th June when I'll be 7 weeks. Glad everyone's scans went well.

Scan all done am 12+5 all well nt measurements good although not officially told from reading taken look good n bloods been taken no one likes doing my blood one decent very tough vein from over use n hurts like hell but has to be done.

Finally home from hospital

Scan showed baby happy as larry and still no sign of where bleed is coming from sent home for r & r . With arms and wrists that look like a druggie as my veins are rubbish and blow .

My downs came back ok too so one less thing ....

Angel, congrats. Isn't it amazing to see them on screen.

Wendz, of course it means nothing. If you're early and I'm late then we could be giving birth the same day :-)

Hi all

Just a quick note to say I'm going to try to keep a low profile for the next week although I'm sure I'll still be lurking.

I've spent the afternoon in A&E and then at the EPU - I started bleeding this morning and the midwife told me to go straight to A&E.

There is a 2mm growth since last weeks private scan but still no sign of a heartbeat and now with the bleeding, we're preparing for the worst.

Have to go back to the EPU again next Weds morning for another scan and we'll go from there.

I know there can still be a glimmer of hope at the end of this but I don't want to have my hopes dashed so badly, it was terrible last time with the MMC in January.

I've got second early scan Tuesday because of my history I should be 9+2 so counting down the days til then ...be nice if I could stay awake later than 830 !! Is anyone else have evening nausea sort of tea timeish
