Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! Part 4!!

scan went well this morning - no change in dates - 10+2 and due date 19th August.

I did nearly pass out once the mw had taken blood! So embarrassing! They have asked me to tell any mw or nurses in future to take my blood while im lying down!

got 5 scan pics showing elbows & legs moving away! it is absolutley amazing the difference 3 weeks make, even though he/she is only 4cm long!!

Although b4 the appointment I was asking oh how we would cope if the news wasn't great.
Midwives were lovely & even showed us round one of the home from home suites which was helpful x

So glad to see you here lollypopswater as for the dizziness it's a yes from me, not all the time just the odd spell but I think it's quite common.

that was my first symptom of being pregnant, feeling dizzy that's what made me think something was going on

Brill news credit crunch. You are a day ahead of me I'm dated 20th August but said could change at 12 week scan.

No news here got another scan a week tomorrow. Still very nervous about everything hopefully will feel better once I'm past the 12 week mark.

Great news on your scan!

Just to say don't be embarrassed, a couple of years ago I started to faint when getting some jabs done so now whenever I have blood taken I ask to lie down or lie back, and they always tell me they'd rather I did that than actually faint on them as it only takes a minute to tip the chair back or for me to hop on the bed!

Ah thanks for asking after me Disney - I am around but trying to keep to just lurking as I would absolutely hate to bring down the loveliness of this thread - you've all been so supportive and I thank you for that from the bottom of my heart.

Today is the day we have another internal scan but this time at the EPU - I'm guessing it might be more than just an internal and could be discussions afterwards with consultants, etc but I just don't know.

Appt is at 2.10pm.

We're still trying to stay optimistic but realistic - strange place to be at the moment but I had a dream last night that 2 survived - not quite sure why but only thing I can think of is that HB has said he secretely wanted twins so maybe that's where that idea has come from.

Massive congrats to lollypopswater - it's great to see you over on this board and you are in safe and very welcoming hands here, they are all a really lovely bunch :beer:.
Will keep you posted later when we've had time to digest whatever news today brings.
