    Hi teabag

I've had two private scans and although the booking confirmation said to bring maternity notes, I didn't have them for either. Mine were booked with Babybond.

    Good luck!

Thank you all for being so lovely ladies x

Glad your OH is looking after you so well Gelly I have everything crossed for you x

Hope your LO enjoys his cake bluebell and has a lovely birthday x

Credit crunch good luck with your scan on wednesday x

Don't worry about the notes teabag I took mine and they didn't even ask to look at them, hope it goes really well for you x

so pleased your scan went well miss i x

I told my team today (they are under orders to keep it quiet) and I was so nervous my hands were shaking. It turns out they'd already guessed due to the fact I'm coming in late and no longer consuming my own bodyweight in tea every day. They were so sweet even the guys and really genuinely happy for me and DH I nearly started crying.

    Hugs to all x

Oh boy I think I may have had my first hormonal temper tantrum down the phone at an ambulance chasing vampire. It went a little something like this:

    me: hello
them: hello is this Mrs Purcy?
me: Yes who am I speaking to?
them: Oh his its michael calling from doodahs solicitors our records say that a vehicle registered to your address has been in an accident.
me: Well your information is wrong
them: you don't have a car?
me: no its never been involved in an accident
them: well my records clearly state that it has been involved in a collision
me: are you accusing me of lying
them: well my records say it has why are you getting irate
me: I don't think I like your attitude I think I'd know if my vehicle had been in an accident so you can remove me from your list
them: why are you abusing me I'm going to report you
me: you're the one who called me! Who are you going to report me to?
them: this phone call is being recorded I'm going to report you
me: what for? being annoyed by a nuisance phone call? if you don't like it hang up!

At that point he said it had been nice talking to me which caused me to laugh uproariously and he then hung up.

Why do they bother trying to carry on fishing for claims when there aren't any grrr I'd normally just say no politely and hang up but he really got my goat cos it was like he was accusing me of fibbing to him!

    and breathe

Anyway sorry about that DH is working late and I just needed to vent!

    Hugs to all
  • Purcy I love that rant!
I feel like that in work a lot. We get so many sales calls - we ask them is it a sales call & they try to say no so you ask what their call is relating to! It's nearly always do with the landlines or mobiles!

My patience I'm generally is depleting as the days go by! Not that I had a lot to begin with :rotfl:

Lol glad it's not just me!

How are you feeling credit crunch is your scan in the morning or afternoon tomorrow?
  • Scan is 2moro at 8:45am.
Going to run a bath soon & try to get an early night.
My OH said I was in foul form on Sunday so I asked him what was he hoping to achieve by telling me that lol!
  • Good luck for tomorrow credit crunch! Great rant Purcy :) I mostly just get texts now about accidents, PPI reclaim and other junk, so at least it's only a case of hitting the delete button.

I did have a look at private scan prices, but it's £100 near us... so I think we'll just have to be patient and wait for the NHS one!

My course finished a bit early today so I was home at 6.30, in time to help eat birthday cake and play with toys! We let DS stay up a bit late, until 7.30, though he didn't settle well so maybe that wasn't such a good idea. Ah well he's asleep now. Hopefully it will be a good night tonight - last night he woke us at 4am as he'd managed to kick the duvet off. At least he goes back to sleep straight away, once he gets covered over again.
