Hi all,
Well I had a private early scan yesterday because I was anxious about not having any symptoms.
Unfortunately it looks like the pregnancy hasn't progressed past 5.5weeks. We will go back for a scan in 2weeks if the natural process hasn't taken place.
Incredibly sad and so confused. Struggling a lot today.
My partner keeps trying to remind me that after a long while trying at least we know we can get pregnant - and I know he is right but I'm not there yet.
The other hard part is that we had just started with a fertility consultant before getting pregnant but now we are no longer eligible for this because we did get pregnant.
But despite this - I'm just incredibly sad for the loss of this baby.
It's quite tough as now just waiting for the miscarriage and have no idea when that will be.

Anyway - good luck to you all and I hope you have peaceful pregnancies.

So sorry Carrot Is there any chance at all your dates are wrong?

I know it's a small comfort that you know now you can get pregnant but that doesn't make it easier. I think after struggling to get pregnant and having to potentially have some sort of treatment to help, the fear of miscarriage is maybe even worse than with a "normal" pregnancy so I can only imagine how you're feeling. Really hope you are as ok as you can be. Sending you lots of love.
