So I don't think or feel that this pg is viable just a feeling I have will see what the scan on Monday brings but not holding out much hope .

Hello sorry I wasn't able to update sooner I've been far too exhausted. My meeting was horrendous but before that this is how Monday morning went. I threw up in the morning then got to work 40 mins early. I always start earlier than my shift but I was hungry so I made some toast which took two minutes and my manager walked in the staff room and in front of two other people screamed at me what the hell do you think you are doing I didn't even know you were here now get upstairs on the shop floor and get standards sorted NOW. Err hello I'm early and eating my breakfast. But I just threw my toast away and did it.

Then my meeting. It was supposed to be at 2pm with hr but hr cancelled so it was at 10am with a manager from another store who is very pally with my manager. My manager was the note taker so I felt like I couldn't discuss how I've been treated and they kept adjourning to confer without me in the room. The manager conducting the meeting smirked at me and said she couldn't believe she was raising such issues with a highly experienced and paid manager and made me feel utterly stupid.

There was all new evidence about my so called bad performance including having a drink of water (Crime of the century) and the day I ripped a nail down so far it bled and I went behind the till to sort it out, I pulled the nail off, filled the sharp bit and put a plaster on it, all of twenty seconds.

There has been 3 customer complaints in the last month and she's blaming them all on me. Even though there's no evidence to say it's me, as I was in store on those days it makes me responsible.

I could go on and on.

End result I've another meeting in 4 weeks and if I've not made a miracle turn around they will end my contract.

I cried and ended up with a migrane.

Oh my god Monty that is despicable to be treated like that. Is it really worth keeping the job knowing that they're going to pin anything and everything on you. I would be making a formal complaint about the meeting as it was meant to be with hr and you weren't notified of the other meeting. I really would be resigning as there would be no way I could face going to work after all of that.

Monty...that's awful. I'd be on the phone to hr as soon as possible and if they won't come to you, go to them and demand a meeting. Also head to citizens advice and see what help they can give. Make sure that anything and everything is written down by you in a diary and also any accident however small, like your nail, goes in the accident book to back you up.
You need to fight this one, as I said before your manager sounds like she is actively discriminating against you as none of this started until you told her you were pregnant. Out of interest....can she have children do you know? Just wondering if her treatment of you is down to jealousy or stress or something....

She has three sons. She went back to work after six weeks after each one. I'm going to write it all down in a letter to hr.

I'm going to try to stay another two weeks, we need the money. After that I'm off for an op on my cervix so will just call in sick, I'll only get ssp but they can't fire me while off sick. I'm going to threaten to take them to a tribunal for discrimination and see what happens.

I'm 6+2 and apart from feeling tired and having sore boobs I feel mainly fine and not like I'm really pregnant either.

At the weekend we're getting my maternity clothes down from the loft and sorting through them.

Has anyone told family yet/know how or when they're going to tell? I have a big family (I'm one of 5) and am planning to make Easter cards for everyone at our Easter meal. I'll be nearly 8 weeks which is a little earlier than I really want to tell people but I'm not sure when we'll all be together again.

Well, all is well!!
I have a stubborn little alien. Bladder too full apparently and couldn't see clearly, after a good 15 minutes of fiddling around off I went to the loo, and we are sitting so low down and I have a tilted uterus (apparently backwards) that they then couldn't find it at all!
Ended up with an internal scan and came away with a pic of babys face, which is why it is now known as my little alien!

I need to go back next week for another go as no amount of moving could get bubba into position for the NT measurement. We opted for this as DH dreamed one night about the baby having downs and I'm superstitious when it comes to dreams - I dreamed that 2 of my sisters were pregnant and it turned out they were, and then before I found out I was all the weird dreams I was having pointed to pregnancy when I looked them up in a book! I don't think I'd go as far as the amniocentesis but I'd rather be prepared and know if it's high or low risk without having the more invasive tests. I'll get another check on the dates then but for now I was only one day out and they have dated me as 13 weeks today and EDD of 16/10/14. All good!

It's now REAL...............suppose I need to finally move up as I was staying put here until I'd had this scan, next week might be pushing it a bit for staying although I'll still lurk to give a bit of support probably!

I had my epu appointment today scanned showed a heartbeat hooray dated at 6+ wks which is about right based on dates would be 7 tomorrow. No idea what is causing bleeding they think poss from cervix as nothing on scan.

Can relax a little now
