To make my plea in mitigation

Early guilty plea :T I had picked up the gel nail remover tool from the sensational kit and planned to pay on points. I was there during browsing time, and had 10 minutes to kill before the tills opened. I was walking around the sale having a look and saw the Champneys bubble heaven collection of three bottles. Ironically this was the only thing I really wanted in the Boots sale, and they didn't have them in last time I looked.

Walking around there were a dozen or two on the shelves, half price from £16 to £8 for three bottles at 300ml. I went and checked, the full size is 400ml and £12, whereas these worked out at £2.67 for 300ml. So i picked up two sets.

No excuse, except I paid on Advantage card points and had really wanted the set. I'm tired today and feeling a bit down about going back to work tomorrow.

My final point in mitigation before I sentence myself to the naughty step, is I have three UUs:

Dove compressed cucumber deodorant 150ml. WMBA but this smells very very strongly.
The rarest of UUs for me: L'occitane body lotion lavender 75ml. A GWP but WNBA, this left my skin sticky and took a long time to absorb, although I enjoyed the scent.
L'Occitane Spring Cherry iridescent shower gel 75ml another GWP and WMBA. Lovely scent and is lovely when layered with the moisturising gel, but I still have another one in the stash to use.

I've also made lots of soups to take to work over the next three weeks, so am working on taking better care of myself both at home and work. I'm curled up on the sofa with my laptop, tv and about to make a cup of tea. Hope everyone is keeping warm on this horrible grey day!

First UU of 2014 30ml Hydraluron HG for me, 2 more in stock, so have enough for a few months, will keep an eye open for a buy 2 get one free again as I never want to be without this product.

It started out with a pretty white frost here, but that changed by mid-morning and has been cold and wet all day, made a quick visit to farm shop for fresh veg and treated OH and myself to coffee and cake.

Commiserations to all those who have to return to work tomorrow, the extended Christmas holiday always used to bug me a bit, as being a bit outdoorsy I always wished I could have the holiday in one of the other 3 seasons instead:(

Hurrah! My first UU - Maybe Baby eau de toilette by Benefit. I've had this for about 8 years and this winter made a concerted effort to use it up so I can move onto my other perfumes. WNBA as I think my perfume tastes have changed and have another 3 on my dressing table to use.

Does anyone have any tips on how to get the perfume top off so you can use every last drop? I tried to get the one off the Maybe Baby but failed and as I don't like it that much decided to just throw the almost empty bottle out.

I've not had the time to finish counting all my products, but have in the region of about 180 items, not including sample sizes and sachets. Eek!
