Only just finished reading the December thread and this one is already on page 5. Think I'm going to really struggle to keep up.

Have used up a few items since I rejoined but can't remember everything off the top of my head.

Was going to post my list but have noticed its massively out of date. Will try and get it updated for February as trying to keep up with everything else is hard at the best of times.

Purchased some No7 translucent face powder today, so that's my first IN of the year. Quite restrained, I didn't buy a second item half price (didn't need anything), but was gutted to then be handed a £3 off voucher when I paid. I could have bought something else first to get the money off voucher...

See that's what happens, they give you a voucher and tempt you back into the store, and before you know it you've a pile a mile high (or is that just me :o) :rotfl:

  • I'm with you on the being ruthless - I am going to use my lipsticks/lipglosses etc this year and any that I decide don't suit me will either be binned or re-homed to my sister. My other resolution is to use a face mask twice a week on the days that I exfoliate (Weds & Sat) - I can't ever see my face mask stash reducing otherwise...

I have been doing this challenge for 3 years and don't think I have finished a face mask yet :rotfl: I'll add this to my resolutions too!

I worked through my eyeshadows last year and chucked about 15  All of them were really old and I have worked out that I just don't like cream eyeshadows, it's powder all the way for me!

I have one UU so far, Clinique Airbrush concealer - WBA, especially at bonus time! I was going to purchase another concealer immediately to replace this but have decided to try out all my concealers under my eyes first in case one of them does the job :money: They are all solid cream type ones so might be too heavy but I won't discount them yet!

Very excited to report that I am about to dispose of an item - Next Sheer Heaven Divine Body Balm 100ml. This was part of a gift set years ago and I have never liked it. It's not remotely heavenly or divine. It's too thick to get out of the bottle, even after standing the bottle on its head for days on end. If I really liked it I would go to the trouble of decanting it into a jar but I have a huge glut of body lotions and this neither smells of anything at all or makes my skin feel soft.

I don't find many body products do make my skin feel softer so in future will make sure I buy things for the smell. However, I have enough shower gels and body lotions to last a ridiculous length of time, so it's not worth me worrying about it!

  • First 2 UU's of the year! Herbal Essences honey shampoo and conditioner, wiba? probably if they were on offer, they worked fine and smelled pretty good.

Have also discovered a S&G Breakfast Scrub and L'oreal shampoo and conditioner in the cupboard that I didn't know about...adding to my list! Staying at boyfriend's tomorrow night so I will take note of what I have there as well and will add to my list on Monday.
  • Hello again! Just reporting a UU and an IN.

UU - Nivea creme 30ml. WBA I like to have it in my bag as its a good all rounder in a pinch. (I prefer others for everything but couldn't be doing with carting them all around) I have a 50ml waiting to be opened though so will pop that in my handbag.

IN Johnson's cotton buds 200 £1 as I will run out pretty soon

    Hope everyone's well

  • I'd like to join in again, I went a bit off the rails last year and over the last couple of days but I think I was hoarding so I wouldn't have to go shopping and be tempted! I am on a serious money-saving mission this year because we want to move house in a couple of years.

I splurged and bought 20 products in the Organic Surge sale the other day, those will arrive next week.

I also bought 5 full-size Andrew Collinge conditioners from Superdrug but they were 30p each and I really couldn't resist the bargain!

I got a Soap & Glory handwash and handfood duo in the half-price Boots sale which now sits in the bathroom, I use the handcream every time I wash my hands and it's really improving my chapped, winter hands.
