Stepping into 2014- walking in My Shoes with Mooloo

well you will laugh, I took two bags of clothes into work to weigh in, got 11 kg, so £5.50 cash in. Then during the course of the day as the sorting was done, ended up buying some shoes ands clothes for DGD, and giving back £5! Mind you where else can you get children's clothes for £1 and shoes for £2? Not many places these days.
I managed to stay awake and do some alterations that were waiting to be done. But not managed to do all that needs doing.
Today I am at Biggest of Mooloo's babysitting DGD2, but will need to take her out with me if I am to get anything done today.
DS has been working hard, and is finally starting to face up to his debts. Although he has gone down a debt consolidation with a company, which I am not thrilled about, as the charges are so high in my opinion. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
:oAnother late night sewing. Making some dolly bags for my friends wedding on Saturday. A late request at the beginning of the week. It took me far too long to do. Best part of 7 hours for three. Things were just not going to plan. Although two of those hours were embroidering butterflies so the bags matched in with the ring pillow made a while ago, and hadn't much fabric so was adapting the plan as I went along. Picture on my blog.
That rare place I visit these days, but promise myself I will use more often when I get back from holiday! (Mmmmm!)When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Made a thermal bag yesterday, finished it today, and road testing it with a beef bung in type of meal. Now I have to just wait!
A few items sold on eBay. Posted off 3, but one hasn't paid yet. So will need to go again when they do!
Time to pack. Or at least start. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

I'm sure Mooloo could share a few tips with you when she gets home about how she budgets and saves for her wee family.
BTW - Look how clever!!! Mooloo's Thermal Cooking Bag all made ready to go on holiday with her to feed everyone.
I can't wait to find out how she gets on with it.
