Igor! Tell me you were not trying to palm off your leftover Christmas brussels sprouts on marmite and kerri!!!

Oh, well, if they were from the freezer that's all right then.

Hang on a sec....why did they all have green fur coats on if they were only left over from Christmas?

Ahhh, Christmas 2012, I see......better ring up the hospital and book an A & E trolley or six, I think we're going to need them....just let me chuck these 2 NSDs into the Cauldron which I seem to have acquired, making my new total now 8 NSDs!!!!

Oh darn, it seems I completely forgot about the sprout curry and have put lamb hotpot on...oh silly me  ;) when you heard 2012' you sure Igor didn't actually say 1912?

Well said lamb hot pot cooking in the oven, bit of a combo of two hairy bikers recipes, but hopefully it will be ok. Also used up some turkey giblet bits that were in the freezer cut up small, although I'm slightly worried that when I offered mog some she turned her nose up

Well guess it's not a NSD here, had to go and organise some flowers for the funeral on wed :( my mum is going halves so hope I chose ok for the both of us. Hope it looks ok too, went for the bigger posey but hope it's not too imposing.

After a spendy weekend i'm up to NSD #8...it's been a tough month but I have surprised myself!! I have meticulously recorded all my daily spends and have set a £100 food budget and £100 petrol budget!! So far on track and have around £30 food money left until the end of the month....it has been homemade lunches everyday and have I cooked from scratch almost every evening aside from Friday night when I felt like i'd earned a ready made pizza :p..! I'm hoping to have a little left over at the end of the month to put towards the debt...but feeling pretty smug that i've managed to pay off £230 this month.....! :j

Well done on the debt busting and grocery budget. Have you tried home made pizzas? I made a batch of dough, rolled out my bases and added the tomato top, then wrapped in cling film and put in the freezer. Then just pull out, add your toppings and cook from frozen when needed....although remember to bake on a baking tray when cooking, OH didn't and because the base hadn't been part cooked before freezing, when it got warm it collapsed through the shelves. Although I was assumed pizza a la Eton mess style was just as good
