This might seem premature, but I'm already declaring today as #10.
I hope you're all having a fab,non-spendy (if possible) weekend.
If anyone needs any encouragement,Hubert and Igor have some yummy manky kippers to dish out for lunch...Apparently they go very well with some of Igor's extra-fuzzy sprouts and HM chardonnay aka Château Gutrot.Enjoy!
Well done brokemedic on resisting temptation.Do you mind me asking what your speciality is?0 -
Declaring NSD #11 for yesterday, despite the lure of a number of things online :A

What, you're turning down Igor's five star cuisine!!!It that wise?Don't worry though, the offer stands all week, though as time goes by,the sprouts might become super-extra fuzzy.I dread to think what state the manky kippers will be in.
PS Igor's happy to throw in a couple of pilchard margahritas for anyone who's up for it!Go on,you deserve it!0 -

Ahh shame, I appear to be all booked up this week...Monday - toe waxing, Tuesday - navel cleaning, Wednesday - poking hot pins in my eyes :rotfl:
Oh and thanks for the offer of the margaritas, unfortunately I'm doing dry January......yes.....I've just joined :rotfl:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Popping in early with NSD 11
I'm not going out today, I'm getting some dinners prepared for the next couple of days as I've felt awful this week and barely touched last week's grocery shopping (hubby has been cooking from the freezer). Going to give the kitchen a good scrub, turf the kids into the garden while the weather holds and attack the ironing pile before it has chance to breed. I also want to get the grocery list done for tomorrow and maybe even open my study materials rather than using them as a doorstopAll conducive to keeping my purse closed
Have a great day everyone

well a huge spendy day for me
have bought DD a heap of goodies so i can send her a wee hamper while she is at uni
she manages a very tight budget and thought she deserves a treat
blown my grocery budget right up but worth it as i know she will be pleased with her parcel
so it'll be a spendy day tomorrow when i "remortgage" to pay postage on the parcel but my nose will be firmly back to the grind stone on tuesday
I dont envisage going near the shops at all till Thursday at the earliest
heres hoping
am pleased i have not ventured near fleabay or amazon this month and my lakeland catalogue went straight foe recycling
