Evening everyone
Spend day for me today. Only on groceries and pretty much everything was needed.
I had got most of the update done but then baba woke up then something else came up so will try and finish it and post it tomorrow. Though may have to be after baby's swimming session.
Sorry to hear about your op and less than supportive work donna. Stay strong and try and do what's right for you.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -

I'm already declaring today as an nsd, which brings me up to #8.
The next day that I have to spend is on Monday,so hoping for an nsd weekend.Bananas galore at home now,so panic over, and mushrooms bought all ready to make a lovely curry (black-eyed beans and mushrooms,a favourite recipe of mine).
Yesterday I got my Mum's birthday present in the sale, and treated myself to 2 cds -also in the sale.I did quite a lot of window shopping, and resisted temptation in all the shops.Pleased about that.
There is a beautiful mug that is calling me to come back and reconsider.I've got a thing about pretty mugs, except that I've probably got around 30 of them.I DO NOT NEED this mug.Oh dear,oh dear,oh dear...
I would love to beat my 2012 nsd total of 226,which would mean aiming for 19nsds a month.Money is probably going to get tighter this year.I'll see if I can reach my target of 17 first.
During 2012 I had different rules. As I have a budget for everything,as long as I kept within my budget,it counted as an nsd. This meant that every day could potentially be an nsd,and suddenly it didn't feel right. So 226 was probably artificially high.I love a challenge though.I've got a thing about numbers as well.
I've already cut my grocery budget a bit for this year.I'll see how it goes.
For anyone who's interested, what doesn't count as a spend for me is:
-using public transport (travelcard)
-any prescriptions
-any bills, subscriptions or dds to pay
-going swimming (subscription)
Everything else counts.
red thanks for the best wishes
brokemedic £46!Blimey,it does add up,doesn't it!Just think of all the trees you're saving too...
donnadynamo what a difficult situation.I hope that manage to sort out some kind of compromise. How come your sick pay is so low?Are you in a union?
What a long post..I'm making up for prolonged absenteeism!

I don't count:- Bus fares (take the money out of my account at the beginning of the month and spend it as and when I need it. It works out about £15 a month cheaper than a bus pass as I work reduced hours)
- Tea/milk at work (I take £5 out and spend it ad hoc on milk/teabags through the month)
I'm not going to get a NSD today as I'm off to the cinema after work - I have a cinema pass but have to pay extra for 3D.0 -
And number 6 NSD has just landed in the Cauldron of Doom! Things are looking good for more NSDs this weekend, so fingers crossed. One life - your life - live it!0

Good Afternoon Folks,
I am able to declare NSD13 for yesterday:)
No NSD for today though, as I went into Belfast city centre to do some shopping:D. I did save a bit of cash by getting the train in though, which is cheaper than paying for parking etc:money:
I visited the sales in Debs and got a new coat at 60% discount;)
Donna, I hope you get things in work sorted out soon and you shouldn't be put under pressure to return until you are ready!
Kerri, do mean pole as in pold dancing? If so, you deserve a medal, as I'd imagine Bootcamp to be more than enough exercise!
Apologies to MissE, as I missed your name when thanking ETO and Sazzie for the updates yesterday. So thank you:T
I hope everyone else is well and I'm off out to do a little bit of grocery shopping:pIf you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.
