Heading for a sanction

No, it was definitely a budgeting loan, I had quite a few
(you can't beat the interest rates...lol)
When I used to apply for one I'd get a letter back a week or three after the application saying it had been granted and there was also a figure there which showed my maximum entitlement. This figure rose each time I applied.0 -

Ok you have convinced me, I'm putting a new application in...wish me luck.
I need some decent interview cloths, I best put something different tho or they will send me £20 voucher for Matalan

Hi, I've moderated on the consumer action group forum, I've volunteered with citizens advice, and in my opinion people need to do two things.
- They need to do the job search that gives them the best chance of getting a job
- They also need to fulfill their jobseekers agreement
I don't see these as both the same thing. In my experience, you can be doing the things you believe give you the best chance of getting a job but still get sanctioned if you don't *also* stick to the exact letter of the jobseekers agreement.
So, in essence, I think of fulfilling the jobseekers agreement as a part time job that's not particularly related to getting a better full time one.
Job Centre staff are under a lot of pressure to sanction you, even if you are doing everything you can to look for a job.
Thank you

I think, with budgeting loans, the confusion arises because the amounts they will lend has been reduced, in the last year or so, due to some of it being hived off to local councils, and the government funds available being reduced.

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.

The daily alerts I get from Indeed contain the same two or three jobs repeated 6 or 7 seven times all from different agencies, just apply for them all. They will probably be out of date any way.0
