Time for a new cat tree

Comments

  • We have two very large bengals 1.5 stones each in weight and purchased a cat tree with wide post they can climb and sit on top of.

It is only a basic cat post but has sturdy base and comes in grey or beige, think it was 29 ponds, from zoo plus with fee delivery.

Very pleased with it , as they are very heavy on toys and posts etc.

  • 1st and 2nd from left - the "pouch on top" no good ,

You could leave the pouches off?

Any good - leave the pouch off and it would then be a nice tall scratcher in the middle

Rising - the one you linked has even less shelves, I need 4 at the right level otherwise hell brakes lose when all boys want to look out of the window :D

I have paid £50.00 for my current one and it lasted nearly 3 years, do not really want to pay more than that to be honest....

It is not so much for scratching as for lounging about looking out of the window... they do not use toys hanging on a tree either - I just need a set of shelves :)

Perhaps it does not show very well on the link to video I posted above (when the tree was almost new) so just took a photo of the sorry state it is now in:

As you can see now, it has 4 shelves that are at window level plus top of the "box" is on window level too. Base is very steady as big, shelves are very wide.

All 4 boys fit on this one easyyyyyy
  • This is what we ended up getting my big cats. Not exactly a like for like replacement of the previous cat tree but at least I know this one won't fall down. And it helps that they love it!
