Today a former colleague who is currently on maternity leave is visiting for lunch. As soon as I get OH out the door to work, it'll be all systems go. First off a trip to the local co op followed by cleaning downstairs then shower, dry hair and be ready and waiting for 12.30. Who knows, I may manage the fanlight!
Still need to get started despite feeling shattered. Dd and I had an exchange of views at twenty past two this morning that left me tossing and turning. When my DS & his GF lived here for 22 months I really struggled.

Had a nice wee afternoon yesterday with a good catch up. Didn't get too much done though have identified two new opportunities to pursue. One is due in tomorrow and is a bit of a stretch. Finally cleared a piece of paperwork which is good and this morning we received our quarterly gas bill which is within budget. I had however forgotten to factor in the cost of my driving licence renewal so I'm grateful for the wriggle room.
Today I need to get some clean laundry put away, application done so poor OH can review this evening, old work task (that will clear dining table space), fanlight cleaned and then collapse in front of holby!Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Maybe I'm lazy, easily distracted or just generally poor at list making but all I intended to do remains outstanding. I did however further investigate the two opportunities and ruled both out. One because it needed a specialism I don't have, the other because interview dates clash with my upcoming holiday. I did get some laundry off the line before the weather turned nasty and also got an extra wash done. I've also identified a destination for two books and have made arrangements for lunch tomorrow. Not too sure where the rest of the day disappeared to.
Today I am grateful for

You're not lazy. Sometimes time just needs to be frittered away, we need that with life being so full on all the time.
I'm sure opportunities which are right will appear soon.
Enjoy lunch.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

I'm meeting a friend for lunch today and will take the opportunity to spend a gift voucher that I got for my birthday last month. Dd got me this as the items I would have liked weren't in stock at the time but are now. I will also be close to my former office so I will get that last task cleared this morning so I can drop off today. I've also said that I'd treat OH to his lunch from a really good deli that consistently has too long a queue for him to wait in at lunchtimes. It looks like this morning is taken care off so better get to it. I think I might also bring a few to go books into town for the charity bookshop. It'd be a few more things exiting the house which is always a positive.
Thanks to all for the visits and the encouragement. It really does help.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. On a more serious note you probably needed a day where nothing much happened.
