Hi INOD
Your health & happiness comes first and you will look back knowing you've done the right thing even if is scary at the minute.0 -
in_need_of_direction wrote: »yes, i've resigned. I'll finish at the end of February and I haven't a clue what I'm going to do. there are changes planned in the company but i can no longer wait for these to kick in. i struggle and sometimes my IBS flares up just at the thought of going into work. i love what i do but no longer think i can continue to do it in that environment but at the minute, it's so much more scary than exciting. i'm 15 months off being 50. hardly an ideal time to be trying to source work. even typing this has me sitting crying
When I left my job I felt such a feeling of release. SO amazing. You owe this to yourself. Until you have been out of there a few months you won't realise the full extent of your freedom. Even now, nearly three years after leaving I still get the odd Oh I don't (have to)feel like that anymore moments. Life is so much better.
Plans and answers will come my friend. they always do
Happy new year XXXXXXXXXXXXNevertheless she persisted.0 -
You have sounded unhappy at that job for so long Inod. If it's impacting your health then it's time to go. I'm sure you'll find something soon. Perhaps a change of direction jobwise for in need of direction?:)

So relieved that nobody was seriously injured but emotionally it must have been awful for you. What a start to the year.
Hope the next few days are less eventful. XxxMortgage (Start Sep 2014)- £70,295/£0 - 100%

That's a good thing to feel grateful for. Relieved for you. I hope byou'll start to feel more positive about the work situation soon. Sa Seaside Gal said you've been finding your job a strain for a long while. And you've given them every chance to make things better in order to allow you to remain with them. Perhaps they thought you wouldn't resign but you've called their bluff.
