Received Claim form from CC for parking charge notice

  • I have received a letter this morning, that despite the request from store that the charge be cancelled, they are requesting valid evidence for not break the terms & conditions or willing to review any evidence indicating that I was a genuine customer on site...

It would appear that PE are taking it upon themselves to OVERRULE the store authority and still demanding payment or progressing to court.

    Any ideas?
  • Today I received a letter from PE ignoring the retailer's request for this PCN to be cancelled. They wrote:

We are writing to advise you that evidence/further evidence of your custom at the above location is required if you wish us to consider your case further'
'In order 'for Parking Eye to consider discontinuing this County Claim, we need to see valid evidence indicating that you did not break the terms and conditions stipulated on the signage. In the absence of this we are willing to review any evidence indicating that you were a genuine customer, on site, on the date in question'
Your evidence should be forwarded to us within the next 14 days in order for this to be considered and to avoid further directions being imposed by the court.'

Can they do this? have they the AUTHORITY to override the request from the retailer? Am also going to find out who is the Landowner for Rishworth centre Retail Park; any body know???

I have until Monday to draft my response to the claim to Nottingham CC. I'm have already drafted a response to PE; just checking if there's anything else I need to do.

Have you accepted the help from Salmosalaris?

These guides from Parking Prankster should also help
two guides: legal arguments - free
other guide court tips etc - about the cost of a cup of coffee

    http://www.parking-prankster.com/court-claim.html

And yes if the principal has ordered the parking charge to be cancelled (have you written evidence?) - then this should be robustly put to Parking Eye
  • How do I get help from Salmosalaris?

I am off to get written confirmation now; the CS Manager has given me some mumbo jumbo. She doesn't know if she can send me the email she has sent PE..... Off to speak to the Manager
