A spend of just under £42 today  I should only need milk and teabags and fresh veg for a week now though.
I am waiting to get the teabags on the lidl weekend offer.
One thing I did notice is that tesco had the 8pk of large wraps at the same price as the 6pk basics smaller ones. They will do us 2 days lunches with lo turkey :D

If anybody shops at b&m they have reduced the indo mie chicken noodles to just 10p :j

The labels were from this website below and really fun to use. They do another 4 types of label too which you can find on their site, just scroll backwards and forwards either side of the jar.

Edited: It might be known to others but it wasn't to me - stick your labels on with milk. Don't know why it works but it does. :)

    AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE   £115.93/ £250

  • Well his 2nd day at work after the new year yesterday and OH bought something from the shop he was working in but it was only 1 chocolate bar so I guess it could be worse! He said it cost him 50p.

Walked to little T3sco in the evening to get some more milk and also got a YS mince, which was only reduced a tiny amount, but needed a spare pack of mince anyway. Also got a jar of mincemeat that was reduced to 41p and it's BBE Dec 16. Total came to £3.49, so spends for yesterday including OH's choc bar were £3.99.

We had the spaghetti with courgette, tomato and brie recipe from the index last night and it was nice to try something different. Tried to upload a pic of it but it doesn't want to work, will have to get OH to help me next time. Made another loaf of hm bread this afternoon for sandwiches, which should last us a good few days. Jacket potoatoes in the oven ready for beefy jackets tonight when OH gets home to use up some mince in the freezer. Hope everyone is doing well :)
Thank you to everyone who posts on here :)

do you just print them off on paper and cut them out sticking the paper on with milk or do you print onto actual sticky labels and use milk to wet the jar ?

£7.03 on various tons in B and M ( especially chuffed about celery condensed soup ...my celery never seems to work). Also got YS rolls in Lidl and white cabbage to make coleslaw.

Bonus tonight, my actifry lid finally came today so we were able to have chips tonight with tea. I have seriously missed my actifry whilst it's been out of action.

Finally got round to making this, with a few alterations as I didn't have quite enough ingredients so halved it and added grated apple to make up for no pectin sugar.

Tastes really good and I can't wait to make some more when I can get hold of enough YS chillies etc again.

Am I supposed to leave it to mature like chutney would anyone know? Seems fine but wasn't sure.

Really love your labels where did you get them please.
