sorry that not the answer you want is it.
i freeze milk by bunging the containers i buy it in directly in the freezer as soon as i buy it. ive had a couple of problems where the seam split on the container so i got a puddle when defrosting it and had to put it in a bowl quick. i'm sure it was on here someone said that could be overcome by taking the seal of inside the lid and pouring just a small amount of milk out then putting the screw top back on and freezing
HTH
When I freeze milk I take out a bit before it goes in .just so it does not expand too muchGc 2013 +26 -5. -4 -7 -14 -15 -10.-8.20 +15p+30+5.80 Dec +9 GROCERY challenge 2014 Jan -2Feb -3 March -1.50 April +5.40 May +4.90 June -3.July 16.50/85

I just print them off on paper and pour a tiny bit of milk in an egg cup and use my fingertip to wipe all round the back of the label. I then place it on the jar and press gently with a clean tea towel.
Cheap and cheerful and sticks a treat!

No photo!
I hope Mr F prioritises them tomorrow or there'll be groans all round.
How do you freeze your quiche, Florence? In the past mines come out a little wet after just bagging it. Do you wrap it in foil or something?Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

NSD today, that's 8 for the month so far.
Have examined my grocery receipt and have decided to tackle one item a week, and either find a cheaper alternative or make it myself. Should be an interesting challenge. This week is dog biscuits, so I made some using the leftover gravy from last nights roast as the base. It was a huge success. Next I am going to make water biscuits, so off to do some research!0 -
Not a NSD for me
Been to HB and spent £25.37 on lots of different foodie bits that I needed to stock up on, loo rolls and cleaning stuff so it wasn't too bad at all.
I didn't buy any of their biscuits, cakes, sweets etc. as I'm going to get back into baking again. I did some for Christmas, but that's all gone now and one of our freezers is empty, so now is as good a time to start as any!
I've updated my signature and feeling quite pleased with what I've spent up to now and with the food I have in to make mealsA family that eats together, stays together

OH came home with a bottle of champagne from M&S and £50 vouchers for John Lewis/Waitrose for being good at work. Sadly Waitrose dont deliver in my area...so John lewis it was.
5 red pans with 25 year guarantee should have been £90, they were in the sale for £60 so with the vouchers I only had to pay £10.00 including delivery! Going to de clutter my pans that are falling to pieces! Im taking this out of my grocery budget too.
they also match the casserole dish i bought last week
hoping for a NSD today!216/2018 (make ££ in 2018)
