    Good luck to all

  • My week 1 budget is pretty much blown as we bought a couple of fillet steaks from the butcher for todays dinner!!

I need to get a proper cupboard and freezer inventory done today and then plan my food accordingly. Next weeks spend will be well under the £30 budget I am determined!

Happy new year everyone. I hope you all have a fab day and all the best for 2014.

Hoping to come in way under budget as I've finally checked the bank accounts for the first time since before Christmas and we have over spent by a huge amount. Quite worried this month which I hadn't been in a long time. Off to browse for scrimping inspiration.

Hoping this month should be fairly easy as, like many I have lots in the freezer :)
Trying to work my way through the store cupboard though. Found a fray bentos pie at the back whilst sorting so may have that this week.
Lots of small amounts of different pastas will be used up for pasta salad or 'spaghetti' bolognese.
    Good luck to everyone!
