  • Chicken stripped and chopped (cat enjoyed a few bits!!) chopped sausage and made a cheese sauce and added left over the Xmas cheese lurking in fridge as well as cheddar - with some veg made up pasta bakes ready to bake x 2 (1 for freezer and one for tomorrows dinner) I hope it tastes nice - I will add parmesan and sliced tomato before it gets baked in the oven.

Just a little spend for me but needed some soya milk as my asthma is playing up and I find dairy makes it worse. Spent £3.02 on soya milk, bananas and lemons. Not too bad considering I hadn't had any breakfast so-

    Thank you Coxy I am.

I'd like to share the following link about the charity work I have been up to, and say thank you to the people here who helped me get there, I won't say who in case they don't want people to know, hope it's ok to post this, I won't be offended if the link is removed but it's not self promotion, I don't think:

Meticulously planned meals and shopping list and then forgot to take it out with me today - DOH! Luckily memory wasn't too bad, but I am going to have to get some forgotten essentials tomorrow.

Budget remaining for Jan is now £47.29 with one weekly shop to go. Feeling upbeat about coming in under target - it will be my first ever.

    Meal plans are:

Chinese veg stir fry & noodles
    Veg lasagne
    Thai veg curry
    Indian lentil stew
Jacket potato with tuna for one (Fri when OH is out)
    Nigella's asian style fish chowder
Birthday tea (kiddy food for my 3 yr old - Tues)
We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.

well DH is getting paid tomorrow, not next Thursday so I'm declaring for the month at £76. Still, its good to know that we 'can' survive on very little grocery shopping in a month. Think it might be a bit of a big spend tomorrow, need to restock some bits in the cupboard.

  • Hi All

    I haven't posted in a while!

Me & DS have been living with my parents since October

We are due to move out in March :T (don't mean to come across as ungrateful but I feel like a teenager again, and not in a good way!)

Anyway I am reading the thread and enjoying all your posts. But I won't be in again properly until March/April.

    Just wanted to say hi.

    Keep up the good work.
