Still eating out of stores.
We have DH's brother coming to stay for a few days so its going to take a bit of inventiveness to come up with meals.
Tonight: Carbonara (pretty easy to make just need eggs, cheese, garlic, streaky bacon, spaghetti and mushrooms)
Wed: HM Pizza and garlic bread
Thurs: Veg Pasta Bake
Fri: Bolognaise and garlic bread
Sat: Sausage Casserole and mash
Sun: Roast Lamb, Roast Potatoes & onions and Brussels Sprouts
Mon: Liver and mash in a creamy mushroom sauce
Stores are starting to run thin but only need to make it to next Friday. I have my £10 Mr T giftcard from the Sun plus promotion that I can use if I need to get anything extra. Will probably need milk and butter before payday. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

Well I am hanging my head in shame the budget is blown big time
.
I was doing so well up until 10th Feb and then it went down hill from there. We booked a weeks holiday to celebrate my 50th and also to decorate the kitchen. So a stripped out kitchen led to lunches out or takeaways for dinner plus Mum and Dad springing a surprise visit resulting in my budget going out of the window.
Current spend for January is £267.74/£250 with 10 days to go .
Will try and keep the spend to a minimum just need to stop my boys (19, 23 and 47) from eating everything in sight.Credit Card £[STRIKE]2332.04[/STRIKE] at 1st Jan 14 now £2089
Joint debts currently £[STRIKE]25000[/STRIKE] £17388 Debt Free date dec [STRIKE]Jan 2025[/STRIKE] :(2022:)
PAD since 20/08/15 £61.160 -

Sorry no updates - OH back to doctors etc and this has really eaten into any spare time and energy.
Fingers crossed though that he will start feeling better and become more mobile.

So spend at the weekend of 11.18, which takes my total to
92.94/ 100
So under budget! Very very glad due to major increased expenses.
However, this has been mainly due to eating a lot os stock out of the freezer and cupboards so this will need to be slowly replaced next month.
My overall budget isn't looking too happy and will need to use savings to pay off the extra expenses.

Had a quiet few days after DS2's party at the weekend - 1 with the boys from his class and 1 family one. Topped up for the family party with an additional £36.92.
hoping not to spend this week on food - menus made from using freezer space!! Also, loads of birthday cakes left, and apple pie from the weekend. Hoping the rest of the family will finish them off for me :j :j
Definitely a success for the party (and my GC) giving out individual plates for food for each child. Food worked out at £2.30 per child..:money:
will update sig. but still under target this month. Going to try and reduce target by 10% next month. I expect it will be a more expensive month as the xmas food is nearly all gone and store cupboards will need stocked up again.sealed pot member 100. Saving for a dream holiday for 6!!
