  • Well, out of my huge online order, I kept a skirt, so that's £32/£300. I have been looking for a denim skirt like this one (not too thick, fits waist AND hips, right length) for about 3 years so I'm excited to finally get one!

I've found having this challenge has helped me to buy only things that meet all the criteria - things that are 'good enough' aren't worth wasting my budget on. I feel all :A :rotfl:

Pair of trainers to replace tatty ones £9.99 and pair of black shoes for funeral £7.49 (were labelled as £14.99 but discounted at till) £17.48 to add to my total.

Could also do with a light cardi in black to wear in the evenings on holiday in Spain, al of my mine are far too chunky knit for the Med ;)

  • Hi
Finding it surprisingly easy so far(shocked myself and dh!)
Not been to the shops much anyway. Summer and all the purple stuff will be my downfall no doubt.

I am concentrating on saving money this year and treating dcs to some days out/holiday instead with the money saved.:A

Shopaholic friend invited me out shopping tomorrow, but I declined and she popped over for a coffee instead today.
She's got way more clothes than me! :D

  • Everyone's doing really well.

I've spent £27 today on a pair of jeans from next. Was going to buy them in Dec but decided to wait as its my birthday tomorrow and Mum usually sends me a next giftcard, only this year she's sent me a present instead (haven't opened it yet) so I had to break into my budget to buy the jeans.

Nothing else I need now though (just as well as DC costing me a fortune at the mo!!)

It's great to see that everyone is doing so well at the moment.

No more spends here and I'm not going to buy anything until the end of feb at least (hopefully not march either but we'll see). I've got a top listed at the moment so hopefully that earns me something and a pair of trousers that I'm planning on mending so I can wear them again.

  • I needed a new swimsuit as I need to get myself into shape - but I found a new one on ebay, so only spent £5.24 :)

I need a belt to go with a dress I hardly ever wear, but really want to wear all the time. I'm just going to look in charity shops though. If it's not cheap, I don't want it! :D

Still no spends here. Haven't really been looking at clothes recently (which is a massive change from last year) but I have replaced one obsession with another, but that's another story!!

Went into River Island today to look at a bag and purse I had seen online and liked the look of. I need a new purse but not the bag so much. Managed to resist - planning on asking for them for my birthday which is soon and means I won't spend any money!

A few spends I am reporting (some of which will be returned or sold)

£1.59 in a charity shop for a lovely handbag.
£3.29 in charity shop for a skirt - doesn't fit right, will get sold.
£13 on another coat, the large is too big so returning that one. This cancels out the original spend.
£1.75 on a cardi for Dd1 which will be part of her birthday present. This is going in birthday category so won't be counted.
£2 on a summer gingham school dress for dd1

And finally £14.99 on some boots, mum put £35 towards them for my birthday (which is march lol but I really need new boots)

So current total is £106.82/£500 which is alot! Once coat is returned it will be 93.82 which makes me feel better :o
