Very quiet on here today. I've had a quiet afternoon after running across town to get new tyres and new tax disc I've not had money to do much else!

Today has seen me munch through:

Cereal for breakfast, 3 satsumas, scrambled egg, 2 rashers or bacon, 2 ryvitas, a huge stirfry, grapes and a muller yogurt.

Not bad for a day when I went to the bakers this morning and bought fresh morning rolls, and 3 cream cakes ( my downfall) and then came home and gave them to their intended recipients without even having a lick! I may have another muller light later.

Ohhhhh and I've had copious amounts of tea, I've been running to the loo every 1/2 hour! The joys!

Hope everyone is having a restful Saturday x

So you had considered licking them before handing them over!:rotfl:

Well done on being so restrained!;)

    Good evening all

Thought I would quickly pop on whilst dinner is cooking...
:Tto those with losses and NSVs and hugs to those in need...

Catt -you do right to relax SW at the moment -deal with the more important stuff and you can soon pick up where you left off once things are a bit more stable and calm for you.

Well Im having a red day -as much as I LOVE green day foods my body doesn't always agree -I end up feeling soooooo bloated :( so Im going to limit them to 1 a week -or perhaps twice :p.... so today is looking like this:-

    500ml semi (hexAx2)
    apple
    clementine

2 chipolatas (2.5)-only because my free SW sausages were in the freezer ;)
    2 back bacon
    fried egg
tomatoes (I had some sad looking cherry toms so cooked em down)

I will polish my :A as hubby and Charlie had baked beans and hot BUTTERED toast with theirs

    chicken breast
    onions (1)
    25g soft goats cheese (4)
    100g frozen peas (hexB)

So that comes in at 7.5 syns 2 hexA and 1hexB leaving me 7.5syns and 1 hexA+B

now hubby is having Spanish rice with chicken and chorizo so IM roasting a chicken breast wrapped in foil and frying off 3 onions and then Im going to stir in the goats cheese so they go all creamy mmmmm

I have to say that the talk about free/super free etc has always been a source of interest to me. I think the old adage of "eat as much as you like" which used to be a selling point of SW was a wee bit misleading -I have always taken it to be "eat as much as you NEED" -lets be honest with a lot of foods -what we want and what we need are very different things ;) -so I personally don't think that just because a food is syn free I can stuff myself senseless with it. I also tend to find that I do much better when I try not to replace things with low cal/fat substitutes. I have yoghurts that are 8-10 syns each, they are so yummy and satisfying that its like a proper pud. If I have muller light etc I end up craving more in general ..

right Im off to get my dindins mmmm
    have a lovely evening all...

On the free food discussion: I always have my SF spread through the day rather than a meal at a time. So if I snack on 'free' food then I know I have to up the SFs accordingly as I'm really careful about having at least one third across the day. To me, if you scoff free food between meals then you're upsetting the proportion of SFs across the day. To me, having your SFs (especially veg) is one the most important parts of SW. The other is meal planning IMO.

When I was asked for a target I just conjured up a weight I remember being. It wasn't that important to be. What I really wanted was to be a small size 12 (I'm 5ft 9in). When I started SW I was ignorant of the fact that you don't need to set a target if you don't want to or you can start with a modest one and then change it whenever you like (provided it's 7lbs lower). If you go target free, you can just stop when you want to and call that your target.

So you're 'not quite in the normal category' beanie.:rotfl:

In more ways than one :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

The chocolate monster has got me today

    Oh blimey.

Just been out with friends, and because we hadn't booked the only place we could eat was Ask. I had NO IDEA really what to choose as everything looked potentially dangerous, so I went with the Sea bass al forno, which said it came with new potatoes and veg. It arrived swimming in a lake of grease. Very disappointing, and an overwhelming taste of pepper to boot. I ate it. I have no idea how to syn it. On the plus side it happens to be the only meal I've had today because of circumstances, I did avoid the bread that others were tucking in to (which looked fab) and I didn't have a dessert. Circumstances just get in the way sometimes don't they?!

I'm a terrible scales addict and disappointed that I appeared to be 'up' a couple of pounds this morning. I do wonder if last Tuesday's weigh in was a bit of a fluke, the loss seemed a bit high.

Just carry on - that's the advice I will give myself!

    TIE~~How are you?
How is the ongoing toothache saga?

    Happy Friday all

Hi Beanie re toothache saga, well after going for emergency treatment to plug a hole in said tooth nothing got better. In fact it got dramatically worse. I struggled on at work until last Wednesday when I had a terrible evening and night. I was in so much pain, not so much from the tooth but neuralgia (the nerve that goes from ear to jaw and other places). So on Thursday it was another emergency trip to a different dentist who took X-ray expecting an abscess but found nothing. Long story short, took out plug cleaned tooth out, put in anesthetic something or other then put filling over top.
So at present all is calm (fingers crossed) although I can't chew properly as tooth is still uncomfortable then so it's mainly soft food for now. May have to have the tooth out if it flares up again :(

So this weeks food has been crazy and although not highly synned it's not been on plan. More like too many HEs ie weetabix and soggy bread.
Anyway wi lost 1.4lb please 2b thank you 2b for the chart, you're a star :A.

Well done to all the losers and big hugs for those in need, keep the faith all :A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
    Keep the Faith All

I was speaking to a friend on facebook and she asked if my consultant had texted to see how I was after my mahoosive gain. I haven't heard a peep. Does anyone get personal texts from their consultant? Is this the norm?

Thanks again for all your words of encouragement, means a lot.

I had a 'hope you are having a good first week' text but I don't think she generally texts.

I wasn't asked for a target? I was wondering about that actually as I do have a target in mind, however, I may be way off the mark and might stick at a weight a good stone or two above what I 'think' I want to be:cool:

I have yet to find a SW cake that is actually edible.

    **************

Well I have been awful this week, so far, and have no hope of a loss on Wednesday. We have been racing about from one place to another and I have barely cooked a proper meal. I have done the odd stir fry as they take minutes but apart from that it has been junk food or oven chips etc.. Last night we even had an indian take away.

I will try and draw a line under it and get back on the wagon from today...

    Morning all,

TIE, hope your tooth settles down, it's an awful pain to have! Fingers crossed.

Beanie/Trow - I haven't tried the options mug cake but I've found most of the desserts and tweaks on SW are disgusting. Even most of the desserts in the magazines aren't nice...

Well I'm having a lazy day today, still in my bed reading the papers and stuff  OH came in really late last night and disturbed my sleep so I struggling nodding off again :(

    B - I'll miss it
L - fancy a nice jacket potato, cheese (hea) and salad, pickles
T - doing Toad in the hole so i'll work out syns for the Yorkshire in a bit, roast potatoes, carrots, onion gravy (2)
    S - yogurt, fruit

I'm starting my 105 syns tomorrow to see if that works better for me. I'll keep track on my phone, so hopefully I won't snaffle anything and forget it :D I was always told to have 10 syns a day so I'm excited we get more :j I'll drop down to 10 when I start to plateau.

Have a great day everyone !!

    morning all
went out for dinner last night and was driving so only one glass of wine
nobody wanted starters so that prevented me from having one - which was good as there really was nothing sw friendly
had steak and jacket potato with salad, mushrooms and grilled tomatoes and no dessert, so chuffed with myself.

Today family wanted pancakes (we buy mix from costco) so I syned 2 pancakes at 5 syns but without usual maple syrup they were horrible, biggest waste of 5 syns ever!
jacket potato for lunch and roast chicken for dinner so lovely easy day
    hope everyone enjoys their sundays
