Visiting inlaws. Some honest opinions on whether this is fair or not please?

I was going to suggest you could have a week out in the subburbs with the inlaws, then have a fortnight in the city (one week with your OH and one without), you can explore the area without the comute in and out from their place, and the final week you and the kids go back out and stay with the in-laws.
There is no easy way to keep everyone happy, try and talk through all the options with them - but if you have your mind fairly mad up do what is best for you and the kids - like you said sometimes a bit of space helps everyone get along a bit better.Smile it confuses people!0
