Congrats foxy - that will be my goal for next year too, if I can! This whole thread has been amazing. It gives you hope when you truly think there is none.
For me, I seemed to do so well until reality struck and I realised I hadn't budgeted at all.for Xmas. With 5 children that's a disaster.
Back to the drawing board, let's hammer the debts off in 2015.
huge thank you to everyone who ran this thread..
You've still done really well this year! But I don't envy you with 5 kids at Christmas, the food bill alone :eek:Wow it's crazy to think that between us we had that much debt, but we've also managed to clear half a million of it!! :T
Thank you minicooper for looking after us and thanks everyone for keeping me motivated. I've certainly paid off much more than I would have done without you all!! :smileyhea
To be fair, it's not all that much when you divide it by 218 people

Well I have somehow managed to end the year with more debt than I started it with. We have consolidated our debts though so we are starting 2015 owing money to the bank only and not 3 x catalogues, loan, 2 x credit cards and parents. Hoping to join for 2015 and I PLEDGE TO END THE YEAR WITH LESS DEBT THAN THE START!!16 projects in 2016 - 5/16

You and me both. Though it may have looked better if I had included all my debt at the beginning of 2014 instead of just the loans/overdrafts/cc kind of debts. This year I will add in all the bills so I know exactly where I stand!.0 -

#124 declaring my total for 2014.
Thankfully, after 5 months out of work, I started a new job ten days before Christmas, so that has eased a lot of my financial worries.
My redundancy money has gone a long way towards clearing my debt. I have spent a little on my credit cards this month in order to buy Christmas presents, but I'll pay it off in full before I incur any interest.
Overall I paid off £15085.56 in 2014.Debt free since December 2015. It can be done0
