    Thanks Mat.
I don't think I'll be able to do much more until paypay, so many unexpected costs cropping up.
    That's life though isn't it !

Dropping by to say Hi

Well done to everyone on here, those small payments are all adding up. we are still £3k worse off than in Jan but it was worse than that a few monhs ago so we are about £2k better off than in the summer :T By Xmas we will hopefully have had some payouts from things and I'll be back at work so hoping to have paid off SOME of the challenge total, even a fiver will be brilliant :rotfl:

    Any exciting news anyone?
    DMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
  • Well first of all, congratulations for all the August payments, and you have managed to pay off a grand total of:

    £34,963.52

We also took on one new debt free wannabe (hi WIN79) and three whole debt free members! Well done to Vicky496, LAM2011 and 1DayAAT!

I think that deserves a whole load of these guys:

  • amr - congrats on breaking 50%! I can also sympathise with being skint... I messed up and had it in my head pay day was next Friday, not 2 weeks Friday. Suddenly only having £20 left is not OK!

Rachiedabbler70 - sooo close! Good luck for the last hurdle, and well done for all the hard work!

Mat - Fingers crossed for the promotion!

nolongerindenial - I'm sorry to hear you're having a tough time again. Debts are never fun, and especially when you're working your bum off. Can you speak to anyone about trying to make things a little easier?

Glittery, I'm really sorry for the long delay in picking you up - I've been without internet for 3 weeks (we survived, just!) You're number 211 - well done for your payments so far!

Gunwharf - congrats on paying CC2!

Wow abba1772- you might not have been by in a while ;), but you've certainly been busy! Well done :T

Karb, sorry to hear you're struggling for work. I have my fingers crossed! I'm afraid I'm just a touch confused with your figures, what was your original target again? I have £8k?

Sandypan - congrats on reaching target - I'll be back in a sec with your debt free roll of honour (sorry for the delay)...

greenanne - glad you have some work coming your way! Hope if goes well :)

ruby - congrats on clearing 25%

Spag - lovely to see you! Hope the (10 month old?) little one is doing well :) Lots happening here- I've just moved 300 miles, and living with the OH now :)

Finally, the recurring theme - 3 pay days til Christmas :eek::eek:

And sorry for the low atendance for the last month - we have settled in to our new flat now (we got a really nice place in the end, ticked all our boxes, very happy with it!) although it was only basic furnished, so we ended up spending around £500 on new furnture (chest of drawers, shelves, pots and pans). I'll be in with an update (downgrade) later!
