happy Friday everyone. great to see so many making payments.

im waiting for my wages on the 17/19 ish. and then I can begin.

yes it is frustrating but there is nothing else for it but to knuckle down, be frugal and wait it out.

ive a ton of stuff to ebay and knitting to do (and sell) so plenty to keep me busy but I want to be making payments too xx

I too am waiting for payday
Cant wait to get going on my snowball payments.

Have been squirreling away little amounts to add to payments when payday finally arrives.
£21+ no smoking money :j am feeling quite smug about that one.

:jJust made my first payment of the year.

£390 off one of my 3 credit cards. (Should be able to pay this one off next month). This was made up of my usual monthly payment plus my Christmas bonus from work, Christmas vouchers sold to a friend and money that was left in an old savings account earning nothing that I just hadn't been bothered to move into my bank account.

Still witing for pay day before I can actually tackle any payments! But doing ok with money saving generally - joined the frugal living challenge so that is keeping me focussed - the aim this month is to live on the contents of my Smile account and not resort to using CC or over draft - I started badly by overspending at Christmas and New Year - the plus side is that I have enough food in to make meals for the rest of the month appart from fresh stuff - I have ordered a sainsbobs shop tomorrow using a £15 off voucher and got all the household items - toilet rolls, washing powder etc to last a month or more - so I think I should only need to spend another £50 tops. I have also signed up for the Cancer Research UK Dryathlon so not having any expensive nights out and won;t be buying any wine this month!

Can't wait to make some payments though!!!

    Hello

Can I join the challenge please? I'd like to pay all of my debt by the end of the year, with a little help from my redundancy payment (but will be jobless and looking for employment from April onwards)...
