Rents gone up £10 pcm... it might not seem a lott in the grand scheme of things but it is an extra £120 a year
Cost of living going up, but my wages aren't......
:eek: Don't forget our tax threshold rise. That should cover this... It's food, fuel and energy inflation that's outstripping the rest!
Well I'm officially unemployed now. But just for a week and a half until I start the new job though, so it's ok! Finished up at work yesterday, was given a really lovely leaving gift as well. Going to spend my day uploading things onto facebook selling pages and the likes.0 -

I'm going to share my new found knowledge of Ebay fees lol
Go to My Ebay, then My Account. Your account Summery comes up. There's a small link just underneath called Fees. Click that then view details.
There you will get a list of all the fees for each item you have sold:T

Hi all, i wanted to join as im really determined to kick this debt into touch now.
Considering 7 years ago i was in 18K of doggy doo, im not doing too bad with just over £1200 left. Ideally i want it gone by Xmas of this year so i can start a new year fresh with nothing hanging over me. I have got £300 in my savings account, would you just pay that off the CC now (its is a recent 0%Balance Transfer so im not paying any interest) Since separating from my OH i get a bit twitchy about not having any savings, albeit small, to fall back on so if i did whack it off the CC id be left with nothing. oooh actually a better idea is to pay the Very account in full with the savings as im paying interest on that and then that still leaves me with £100 just in case. See i answer my own questions. Nice to see/meet you all and good luck everyone.Debt Free Jan 2015 :T0 -

I was just updating the spreadsheet. You're original target was £1969.73, so do you want me to lower your target, or say that you've paid off £250ish?Hi all, i wanted to join as im really determined to kick this debt into touch now.

Well done on what you've paid off so far! I've added you as #210.
Moving day tomorrow, may go AWOL for a few days! I'm sure you will all keep yourselves amused, but hope I won't miss any debt free announcements!0 -
One more thing - the thread has reached a grand total of 25% of our collective debt paid off now!0

Evening all, I am hanging out my proverbial a*rse today. Heavy weekend partying and a bit of wallet damage caused too. Had a lovely email from my parents yesterday though, they have kindly donated £1000 to our wedding fund. We're on our way to a wedding one day now0
