I just wanted to say thank you to Minicooper for running this thread. I know it must take some time updating and keeping up to date with everything. Its threads like this that really help as you feel like you need to report and keep on top of what you have challenged yourself to do.
Aww thanks! Well it's a big thanks to mf0u1098, who came up with the idea originally, and created the spreadsheet for us. I just fill boxes and copy and past things!0 -

In the interests of staying green this month I'm going to wait until I'm paid to pay off the catalogue ... Don't want to jump ahead and leave myself short again0 -

Well life has been getting a little expensive again, as I'm saying goodbye to lots of people ready for moving next week. Absolutely no payments will be coming from my direction this month!
We're still really struggling to find somewhere to live. Everywhere is going so fast, and the two places we have asked to take have been given to someone else, so I'll be phoning my parents tonight to ask if I can move in with them (and by that I mean "Hi mum/dad. I'm moving in next Tuesday, what's for dinner?" :rotfl:) I'll offer something for rent, but it'll will be less than proper rent, so should save me a little bit...
Well done on all the payments guys0 -
Things are a nightmare at work, it's all up in the air. Hopefully I'll have some clarity in the next couple of weeks - could be very good news, could be not so good news... that's all I can say for now ! I won't lose my job though, it just might change a bit.0

Morning all, up early today and wanted to share my two pieces of good news.
1. Signed up for a free Experian trial to check my money status and found out that MBNA owed me £152 from an overpayment I'd made when paying off the account. I wasn't aware of it and surprisingly they didn't write to me to let me know!!!! Phoned them on a free phone number and money should be paid back into my account today!! Really useful looking at the Experia report but must make sure I cancel it before the 30 day deadline! Be interesting to know if anybody else is owed money that they are not aware of.
2. Also on Experian able to check mortgage and realised had made an extra overpayment that I haven't recorded on here so
#78 £14,464.15/£15,000
Realise that brings me nearly to the total that I set myself at the beginning of the year but will continue on this fantastic thread to continue making a dent in my mortgage! Will update signature with mortgage balances and then next year hope to be debt free completely.
DF by Christmas 2014 #78 £18,964.15/£15,000
