Having a massive financial overhaul this month, so changing my 'team' to represent First Direct and a lovely joining bonus, setting up a regular saver with matching First Direct and moving my savings into the Santander 123 that was setup last month.

Plus whilst loggin into Santander I found my savings account had an additional £300 in it!!! Cheeky bonus indeed.

So with a change of sponsors and awaiting a chance to recoup a hefty outgoing in May, trying to steer the debt and hit it hard this June.

Good luck everyone, thank you again for all your support.

Everyone is doing so well...i'm paying small amounts at the moment, a few more months of budgeting hard and then hoping to make some higher payments. Having a massive clearout and going to carboot; also preparing the spare room and hoping to rent it out as soon as the bathroom/ kitchen decorating has been finished and have had the boiler serviced! Always something isn't there?!

Without further ado, another £40 paid off of the CC...over halfway to target now:j

Just had a nice payment in for DH for an 'extra' job that came in. Sadly by the time the tax man has had his chunk, paid the public liability insurance for the year, brought new safety shoes for DH, taken the car to the garage....I have nothing left over to make a cheeky overpayment! :( Although, I have put a few quid to one side to pay for our anniversary meal out later in the month. We've been married for 16 years and been together for 21 years this month!

I did suggest a low budget option to celebrate our anniversary....I won't repeat the response I got!! :rotfl: Ah well, I tried...and am now considered even more of a tight a*** that everyone thought! :o Do I care...no not really, not if I'm getting this debt sorted! ;)
