Well done everyone for all payments big and small - everything counts!

Just been paid so quickly paid a number of debts before I try spending the money - leaving only a third of my wage left.

I've hit the 70% mark - so proud but it has definitely been through very hard budgeting and some deprivation. I won't be debt free this year - I think I will still have about £6000 of debt (excluding the mortgages), so 2015 will be my year.

    Happy Sunday everyone.:)

Right, I've chosen the middle ground. Paying £338 today and keeping by £182 in a separate account to get me focused on sticking to my budget this month.

As we enter the 6 month of the year and nearly half way on our Journey I wish to thank you all on this thread. I may not have reached 50% yet but without this thread, I would be a 0%.

Every pound I have re-payed this year , is down to all you folk on here who share your journeys and give so much support.

So from me its a BIG thankyou and looking forward to the next 6 months or so.

    All the best

Here here!! Thank you everyone and especially mini and the gang! :T

Bublin1 Don't feel too disheartened, everyone needs a roof over their head! :)

nolongerindenial Well done on making another payment. One time I had to contact a regular client to chase an invoice which was overdue. Fortunately payment arrived the day before the mortgage payment went out! Our mortgage is the last bill of the month as it were, so it's normally fine....don't like it when it gets that close though!

Wanna Bee Free Good luck with the budgeting this month. Hope you have lots if not all of that £182 left at the end of the month. ;)

It feels good to be almost half way through the challenge and have almost 50% of the debt gone. :j

Here here from here too!! Thanks Mini and the gang and everyone on here, you are all really motivating!

Thanks Mossy, I have decided to budget in cash and so I have done something rather sad and taken out my June money and put it in 5 envelopes. I've even drawn a little box on each one so I can track what I've spent as I go along. When it's gone it's gone. Feeling optimistic but a little daunted. And pleased with myself for using what I had to hand rather than buying some fancy pre printed envelopes or something!

Are we in payday 5 or 6? When I was calculating my £775 target I used 7 more paydays instead of 6?
