hey all. paid another £50 today. i am paying my holiday this weekend, eek, so unlikely to make any more that the minimum. good thing is though only two payments left on my OU fees! that will free up £100 a month to chuck elsewhere :) will probably pay off my sofas with it, as there is about £550 left

    Morning all,

Its payday!! Two payments made so far this morning, including £70 to the payday loan company. Only 3 payments left to them now before I can turn my back on payday loan companies forever.

So a total of £120 paid off today with more to follow on the 1st April:

    #163 £2122/9141 (23%)

    Edging towards 25%....:)

Payday from my second job so £120 paid off the loan. I have really been putting in the hours in my second job and I am starting to feel it. But it's all worth it on a Friday when my pay goes into my bank and I can move it straight to the loan :D

Total paid off so far #87 £1790.68/£9827.73 or 18.2%

    Getting there slowly but surely.

    Update #123 - £1230/£5000

Well another £400+ paid off this month but I am struggling to feel happy with it. I miss the money we are really struggling. I wish I never got into this debt and could rewind time and avoid it at every way possible.

To cheer me up my husband took me to the craft shop and said to treat myself as he got a cheap xbox game for him and the kids got £5 each to buy what they wanted. I spent £13 but it did cheer me up lol. Council tax and our rent has gone up by £130 from 1st April so now we have to muster that from somewhere without falling behind on debt payments.

Got to keep going, throwing myself into spring cleaning and selling junk we no longer need or never used. Its quite nice if you get money for something that has just been gathering dust.

Geeze....I'm soooo slow, I've just been told it's better to make frequent over-payments verses once a month payments. I'll be paying back less interest. Ugghh.

Ok so from now on I'll be making once a week payments instead of waiting until pay day, This will also be way more satisfying and keep me even more disciplined.
