If you look at the email confirmation you received when ordering the goods it will show you the address you chose to have the parcels delivered to. If you chose the wrong address then you need to be doing the work unfortunately, however, if the email confirmation shows your new address then really it is Tesco who need to be chasing Yodel for theft.
With Yodel I wouldn't expect much, my wife ordered an iphone from them last year and the first 7 were stolen!0 -
With Tesco,I know that when you place an order if you have more than one address listed YOU have to choose your delivery address from the drop down box.
I'm guessing you didn't and therefore it stayed on the old one (the first option)
Hi looks like thats what happened...
however the issue is first one they dont have signature its a £1100 parcel saying "posted through letter box"
2nd one person staying there refused delivery however he was still asked to sign and the delivered marked it as delivered
i have raised dispute on both orders with my card provider but seriosuly dont know how to go forward from here, yodel is not providing drivers name and number as well0 -

Yodel should really be looking into it! Have they said they will?
It really is yodel you need to sort here.Definitely contact the fraud peeps/police.If yodel have a worker stealing then there could be others too and it needs to be stopped and rectified.
Are you 100% sure the other person didn't take any of the deliveries though? That's the only thing you need to consider.I've had similar before after moving, with an Amazon delivery,I actually went to my old house to collect my parcel that had been signed for and they said they sent it back.If women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0 -

So you're admitting it was your mistake on the addresses. That simplifies things.
Essentially, you have ordered products to be delivered to your old address. There are two options:
1. They were delivered to the old address, and the inhabitants have received them but are now lying to you (essentially, they have stolen your goods).
2. They were not delivered there, and are lost/misdelivered/stolen in transit.
Where you go from here depends entirely on how much the inhabitants of your old address will support you. They are going to have to fill in paperwork to say they did not receive the goods, possibly produce a signed statement to that effect. Without that, you're going to get nowhere.
You need to talk to Tesco, and them alone. Not Yodel, not the police (at this stage). Tell Tesco the two deliveries have not arrived, and you want a refund. Don't muddy the waters with talk of multiple addresses now, you know you ordered them to go to the old address. Don't be fobbed off, insist that the goods did not arrive at the destination (the old address). Then see what Tesco do next.0 -

And Tesco should get on to Yodel.Although, when I had the same issue with Amazon they told me to get on to the courier.
But the point is it's Yodel who need sorting, even if by tescoIf women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0 -
hey guys thx for your responses... unfortunately i have already told them about it as i wanted to be honest from the start.
so based on what you ll said i can for now say keep the 2nd one on hold and can report to fraud etc
however am i not entitled for refund on first one ? it clearly says posted through letter box, its a big parcel worth £11xx and no signature proof0 -

You need to chase Tesco for both parcels. In fact, with no signature and the wrong description of the delivery, you'll probably find it easier to get a refund on that one.0 -

yes i would have thought so i have called amex n informed about the same... they ask me to upload any docs or proof i have in support
i think tesco knows very clear that this one is easier gone my way thats why whenever they call they speak abt both combined so i dont claim this one first0 -
so tesco called and decided to refund first one
said the driver left it outside main door
so whats stopping them to lie about 2nd package0
