Sorry if I missed it but have you answered the question above about who made the mistake on the address?
If they made the mistake then all this about options and rejecting delivery etc is irrelevant.
If you made the mistake then waters are far far muddier. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

hi
am not really sure.. i made three orders in past 2 weeks as we moved to our new address. first one came to new address (thats when i updated new address) and assumed that the new orders will come there... however it still stored old address and thats where i could have made mistake
The issue is even if i made mistake the person who refused delivered was asked to sign as per the last information i have ... when he asked the driver why do i have to sign "the driver" said so that it can be returned to sender as undelivered
:mad:0 -
looks like need to go to police as tesco states i should report it as fraud however am still stressing that leave 2nd one for a minute , first one doesnt even have a signature just says posted through letter box thats a £1100 big parcel
joke!!0 -
Hi
1st package worth :£1100 has no sign .. tracking says"posted through post box" which i can surely fight as the item cant go through the post box but they are saying driver is on holiday and we are sure he delivered it properly but must have selected wrong option on PDA
am sure i can still fight on that they it doesnt matter as they dint take signature
actually i just managed to speak to the person who refused delivery of 2nd package. He was asked by the driver to sign it and upon asking why he wanted signature he was told so that it can be returned to the sender
The second one, if you can prove its not you or a relative then I would be arguing that they had no right to be signing for the product.
Ultimately, you may need to take this to small claims court to get a result.Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0 -

I don't see why you would need to, Tescos cannot prove you have recieved the goods.
Write a letter before action giving them 14 days to refund or replace and then goto court.Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0 -
thx everyone
we have raised dispute on both orders through amex and lloyds amex card.. just wondering should i write to yodel and tesco in writing at this stage and send by recorded delivery or should i make a police complaint alongside
yesterday eve a lady from tesco called that i need to inform police and some fraud agency etc
i will be informing all possible sources like watch dog etc however my first priority is to get my refund
order 1: says delivered through postal box(£11xx) worth order am sure they have to refund that without asking
order 2: the person staying there says he refused delivery to which the driver said he still needs to sign so it goes back to sender however tesco/yodel claiming thats not the case. the sign is a proof its delivered

However if OP is taking the line that they provided correct delivery address and this is a mistake on tescos end, then its Tesco that need to contact the police as it is their goods that have been stolen and that side of things has absolutely nothing to do with OP.
If OP provided wrong address details then imo it should be OP who reports theft as Tesco have performed their side of the contract correctly. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
I'm no expert but there still doesn't seem to be clarification re: the address.
OP, is it possible that you didn't change the address as such and you just added a new one?
I know I can have different delivery addresses for certain online accounts and it will give you the option to choose the one you want on each individual order.
Think there needs to be clarification before anyone can advise properly!0 -

With Tesco,I know that when you place an order if you have more than one address listed YOU have to choose your delivery address from the drop down box.
I'm guessing you didn't and therefore it stayed on the old one (the first option)If women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0
