managed to get a couple of airbeds for when we go camping for £1 each in tesco this morning people were grabbing loads and cleared the palette in about 5 mins  also picked up a couple of kids dvds for 50p each.Couldn't be bothered to brave the boots free for all as I don't really need anything at the moment no birthdays till later in the yr but did manage to get a couple of sanctury travel sets for £3.60 each in my local they did have a fair bit left but think that's because they've only had about 5-6 different items left mostly no7 since last wk people have gone to the bigger stores today

thanks for the travel hamper ideas

    hope everyone's doing ok

:rotfl: you've had hated my gt gt aunt Sarah. I'm sure Catherine Tate must have met her before she died. It's is just her all over.
As teenager I thought is was so funny to see this old lady say what others were thinking. But she also loved getting it back. I think that's why we got on so well.
She passed away in 2005 aged 97. :(

    could it be
That Fella What Went Away To Wander ;)

OMO, your great Aunt Sarah, sounds a very honest character so im sure i would have liked her.

Junior J, hope you are feeling better and less in need of meds to take the pain away soon. hugs also to your Brother, life is hard sometimes.

back from shopping/post office/recycling expedition. only thing i managed not to achieve was droppig off books at the drs waiting room. theyve taken the bookcase out as people left it messy. put a sign on it asking people to keep it neat and they should. dont use take the books away and stop people that used it properly suffer. OK, i didnt actually read any books off it i used to take my pre-read ones down to add to the shelf when it was dwindling a bit, and i always neatened it up when i did but the books got taken off it so someone was reading them. Suppose they'll have to go in the CS bag now i just liked the idea of giving them away. the shelf was a borrow and bring back type thing that you just borrowed or dropped off as you wanted, like a library but without the fines.
