  • Freespirit - hope your pain has eased.

Nic - hope job turns up soon that fits in with your circumstances. So wrong that you should have to hand all your wages back over for childcare. Well done on your Jan sales - let's hope its the start of bigger things to come. ;)

Nanamia - hope you've really enjoyed your coffee, cake and the company of your friends.

Amy - hope you don't have to hand over too many £££££££s to get car through its mot.

Reen - sounds as though you have found a bargain with the sewing machine. I can cross stitch forever but when it comes to real proper sewing I struggle :o. Don't forget to share pics of your makes.

Re Adpoints - it seems as though it been ages and ages ago since I got anything over 100 points (usually around 50-70). Checked this morning and I've got 8 pts to do

Picked up a Pot of Dreams (Boofle one) from Clintons this morning with 25% (£7.50). DS has claimed it for his cousin's 18th next month.

Recent Yankee Candle order is being delivered on Wednesday.

    Take care everyone

    Have messaged you Freespirit x

I just got a letter for another interview :j this one is for a Bank personal Carer for the local council. So I could pick the jobs I want to take on and it gets me in the door for any other jobs in he council. They tend to advertise more internally.

I got a Bontempti accordion for DS for next Xmas, it was down to £16 in Tesco (£50 off in Amazon) but one of the keys were sticking, so took it back. It's a toy but also a real instrument. A bit disappointed as he would have loved it. But I think it would happen with others.

Nic - good luck with the interview. Can you pm me your facebook page too, I'd like to have a look.

Freespirit - you're doing so well on the challenges, I think it was a great idea from your DS and must have taken such a lot of thought.

Mrs I - hope you're soon up and about.

Reen - well done on the sewing machine. My mum gave me her full size one from JL a couple of years ago and I wasn't that excited but it's been amazing and I've made so much on it.

DH has been quite poorly for the past four days but is up and about again today, not 100%. So glad he's feeling better. We're having DGS2 tomorrow (he's 6 weeks old now bless him) and my sister is having DGS1 (he's 2 next week) to give my DD2 a bit of a break. She's prepared a list of housework she wants to get done but from experience my money is on a day of DVD watching :D

Wrapped my sister's birthday pressies today (birthday on Saturday) and have bought lots of Mickey Mouse stuff (bedding, pyjamas, cushion and sweatshirt) for DGS1 (23rd) so hoping to get some cheap MM wrapping paper as well.
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :
