:rotfl: Everyone is quite safe. I only tell people if they ask me, 'Does my bum look big in this ?'
I wouldn't be a true friend if I lied. :rotfl:

I've come to the conclusion your all a bit crazy, but I love it.
I love coming on here and just reading what you've all been up to really, its lovely, like a big family.
It does seem lots of us have been to wilkos today, I couldn't help myself and bought some giant gift bags for a whole 25p each and a talking broom for ds in the sale as he's obsessed with brushes and mops.
Argos clearance has got some good bits managed to get a thomas rug for 5.99 reduced from £15 as there's a new one out but its no different. Also a 220 piece mega bloks tub reduced to 19.99 which I thought was a bargain as its huge :-)

Thanks for the sweetie tree pic, Nanamia! Love it. It might even stop me eating them for a while as it looks so good. :T

Went to town this afternoon. Got a singing Snowman and a singing Penguin in Clinton's £40 down to £4. Got a metal Christmas sign for £1.20 down from £12.
( I actually can't stand singing teddies but Robbie likes) what a good Mima I am :D

Then into Wilkos and got 3 rolls of paper for £1.50. Two of them are plain and can be used as birthday paper.

Was having a nice time until I bumped into one of my mothers friends. She said it was cruel of us not to speak to her and maybe it had all been a mistake. And that life is to short not to speak to your mother. Well after the incident on NYD I can see no mistake. I told she was talking carp about stuff she knew nothing about and her opinion meant F*** All to me. And that my life was to short to stand listening to the b***ocks coming out of her mouth.

Blooming good for you, OMO. How dare she butt into your private life!
Eh you lot can't half talk. ;) Taken me ages to catch up with you all.

Can't remember what I was going to say, but I know some of you may need an extra hug so I'm sending some your way.

Nanamia - hope DH is fully recovered now. Love the sweetie tree - they're my favourites btw ;)

jj - hope things work out well for you. :happyhear

msgigglewick - thanks for leading me into temptation - well onto the Yankee Candle site anyway. Off to look for free del code now. :D

Picked up a couple of xmas/birthday gift bags/boxes yesterday at John Lewis (reduced of course) :D. In Clinton I bought Simon's Cat Calendar 75% off, some of the 3 for a £1 funny xmas cards (thanks Ruth ?) and a box of xmas cards had been £4 down 75% and the assistant struggled to work out the price after discount even with the help of a calculator.

Anyone after a ceramic frying pan - Mr M's have them in at quite a good price. Hubby has just picked one up this afternoon - large pan 28cm I think for just under £15. Pleased I didn't buy one for him at xmas as I was looking at £30.

Well back to Yankee Candles now.

    Take care everyone

I only passed on what I read from the Grabbit board, but glad you've managed to get some bargains in Clinton's. I even sent DH to the one by his work, hinting heavily that they had some lovely 'wife' cards in there. He came home with some other nice cards from the offer too-ones I'd not seen in the local branch.

I had the tiniest look at the Yankee candle site, but then closed the window quickly before I spent a fortune on myself. Now I'm thinking with a free delivery code, I could buy presents for people. But only if I KNOW who to give them to. No buying loads and ending up keeping for myself, like I've done before. :o

Had a unproductive day. Had loads of cold calls and ended up having a right go at one bloke. We're ex directory and with the TPS, but it still doesn't stop. What annoys me is when I ask them where they got the number from, they ignore me and start the sales pitch. I admit that I've got very short with them now, but I just don't seem to get any peace and quiet. Maybe I should look into caller ID (I'm with Sky, so not sure if they charge-I know BT is now) and not answer if I don't know the number.
Anyway, in the end I went to have a long bath with a chocolate face mask on, a large glass of Baileys, some chocolates and some swing music playing while I read my book. Much happier now. :)

i hate cold callers with a passion, and they dont take no for an answer. something i do if i really cant be bothered with them is let the phone click to answerphone then if they start to leave a message i know its usually a genuine person and i pick up if they dont leave a message and hang up i press 1471 and its usually a withheld number so was most likely a call centre.

DH has had to nip out to take DS1 and friends to a concert/gig thing in town and Ds2 has taken himself to bed so when DH gets back we'll have tea and hopefully watch a dvd while i knit (such a rock'n'roll life we lead):rotfl:

debndot I got FM a large tub of mega bloks for his birthday. He is sitting in it on the pic I posted. He climbed straight in when the lid was taken off. I think he thought it was a lumpy ball pit. :rotfl:

    I have decided to post a quote/caption a week.
Obviously they will not apply to everyone, but I will try and keep them varied.

I will kick off with 2. ( 1 can be for last week) :D

Thanks for this. Just ordered for my neice's birthday. :T

No luck getting a sword today for the Sir Charlie costume. Saw one for £5.99 but was hoping the pound shop would have one. Will have to go back tomorrow and get the dearer one.

Bought some men's stripy socks and he will be wearing one of DH's t-shirts with a belt. Best I can do with 2 days notice. :D

Thanks again for all ideas, I just couldn't think what to do.
